I'm fron Varna-a great Black sea town,in a nice country...if you know the nice places.
Today I miss the alpha graphics. I don't think pixelated textures and smooth shadows is a good combination for this game. I play the game with lower graphics on my PC (though it can handle the game with ease on maximum graphics) only to get closer to the old time, but no- it doesn't work as much as I want. I am not complaining about the gameplay- just the graphics.
Only the thing in the center of the map and the main part of the terrain are world brushes. Everything else is func_wall. I will check what happens if the func_wall brushes are func_detail, but I doubt that this will take care of the lag- while the player is inside the sky brush, where only the world brushes remain visible, the lag does not drop. I really have no idea where to check what makes the map harder to process.
Damn... This is creative. Just when I thought that there is no longer a way to be original anymore.
It's okay to be gay...*music*
My question about their behavior is: WHY?
Commas, full stops, question marks and others are not placed randomly. Looks like we will have to figure out which symbol stands for which letter.
LET THE TRANSLATIONS BEGIN!
Thous eyes... THEY ARE STARING INTO MY SOUL!

For the cat seeing you...
I'm sorry... There is WAY too much detail.
I like how the textures fit with each other.
One of my favorite places in CoF...
I'll do some criticizing here: There isn't much rust to fit with the destruction, the walls look like they have been unmaintained for only an year and the wall's angles... I know why do they look like that, but you can still make the angles smoother with models. I'm hope the "problems" I listed will be "fixed"!
But still: LOOK AT THE GROUND'S TEXTURES!!!
Now that's something I have never seen! Models that fit with the brush work in Gold Source!
Really nice! But I think that the AK is taking too much space on the screen. Unless this happens in certain conditions.
Is it inspired by the anomalies in Metro 2033?
Can we have some screen shots from the addon?
The only way you can know for sure, that this is Gold Source, is the lighting- the good old shadows made from squares... I doubted if this is Source, but no, it isn't. Amazing!
Amazing! Great work.
Is that a mutant grunt warping in?
There is still something in the atmosphere, something... Half-Life-2-isch, reminding you of which world are you playing in. Really nice.
Oh my god!... That's no enough and it's not for someone like me... Holy s**t! That makes no sense and it's still not enough. I don't know how to express my reaction from looking at thees images...
Where is the Gravity gun when you need it...
That's right. That makes making "triggers" in Minecraft an achievement for the "mapper"- with so many limits to make something complicated.
Really really nice! If only the crates were models...

So that's why there weren't any updates for a LONG time...
Some surfaces are way to bright for a foggy environment. Still, really nice mapping and texturing.
Impressions so far: Nice gameplay- My health is usually around 50% (how can I use the bandages?). Still the amount of ammo can be lowered a little. This mod is NOT a total conversion- the headcrabs and manhacks are remodeled and with different sounds and some edited code (that's just an impressions) (there might be other edited enemies); the headcrabs' death is different from the default; new monsters are added. Shacking ironsights and no crosshair- nice! I can't feel the horror- I'm resistant to horror mods now, I was expecting something scarier, I'm playing the mod during the day or it's not enough scary, I don't know. I should play it during the night to see if the sunlight is removing the horror for me. So far- so really good!
The only thing that is bothering me are the textures. To me they still look unrealistic, as if they are made from a white image with drawing software (unless they are made that way), instead of using an edited photo. Cry of fear- all the textures are made from photos. But I guess you will have a bigger problem finding appropriate surfaces in the real world. But it will be well worth it!
