You need a Halo PC key. So yes, you should have the original Halo to install Halo: Custom Edition.

Yes, but, you need Halo 1 PC for a pc code which is required to install Custom Edition.

Pretty much. You can play on easy as well if you'd like. easy = easy, heroic = hard, and legendary = impossible. Just type that command in the directions when you are in the UI and then load up one of the maps.

Sorry about replying late. But yeah, AA does that with Halo. You can use some other form of AA that does indeed work for Halo though, I'd have to look up how it works but I know it works with newer ATI cards.

Anyway, news + download on moddb is awaiting approval.

I don't think your going to find a link for it. We explicitly extracted it from the Halo 2 game itself to acquire it. If you'd like them I can send them to you.

It's very much alive. There has been some news over at Halomaps but I haven't had the time to update Moddb, as it is not our official home. Expect some stuff by the 25th. (The 25th will mark a 1 year anniversary for the first release of EP1).

You probably typed it wrong. If your playing the orgigional, type: "map_name tmc_a". If its the fixed version, do "map_name tmc_A_fixed". Hope that helps.

It's a custom level; you have to use console to load it:

In console type "map_name tmc_a" and hit enter.

This really isn't a stand alone game. Its more of an expansion, bringing more gameplay, art, and story into a good old game.

I can't guarantee a real longer episode, but I think it will still take a bit more time to complete. That being said, the map will also have much more replay value this time around.

Press the ~ key. If that dosen't do anything, it means you don't have console applied. To apply it, open the Halo Custom Edition shortcut and add -console" at the end of the target. Should work after that.
