Gamer since year 1999 when I got Playstation, Hardcore Gamer since 2004 when I got my first PC. Played about probavly 100+ games (PS+PC+Emu)... - I mapped some custom levels for Doom 1/2, Duke Nukem 3D and Warzone 2100. Reviewers at WZ2100 site said that my maps were looking good except the balance. Thats it.

Neotokyo° is first person shooter set in futuristic version of Tokyo called Neotokyo in year 2040-50 in times of political, economical and social crisis in Japan.
Military tried legally push the changes in Japanese Constitution to allow Japanese Armed Forces to act outside its countrys territory, as it dint pass some portion of members of GSDF gathered and launched military coup against Japanese Goverment. Attempted coup was almost succeded and so rogue members of GSDF continue their activity, Prime Minister of Japan created NSF that stands for National Security Force and its main goal is to supress and eventualy remove threat of another coup and possibly capture or kill all rogue members of GSDF.
NSF or Group Six is made of members that are sworn/loyal to Prime Minister of Japan and protect Japanese Constitution at all costs!
Jinrai or Special Operations Group 43 are a part of GSDF Special Forces, they are fierce nacionalists with a goal to put back Japan to strenght and power.
So the war in shadows or shadow wars begin without most of japanese citizens knowing.
Neotokyo has own version fo Capture the Flag called Capture the Ghost that, your objective is to capture female cyborg torso that containts valuable information for both sides...
Female Cybernetic Torso is called Ghost (based of Ghost In The Shell).
Neotokyo has influence of Ghost In The Shell and Akira, it influences alot in music, art and its storyline of Neotokyo aswell some maps and models.
Neotokyo has over 20 weapons, from a simple knifes to machine guns and explosives. There are 3 classes, Recon, Assault and Support.
Neotokyo is one of the best FPS mods that surpasses most FPS games.

I deciced to try this game, downloaded it from piratebay and installed lastest unofficial patch 8.3 to see if its worth buying.
I got addicted to this game, great soundtracks, storyline, characters, depth of the world, twists and turn, quests, stealth combat... I blame Activision for rushing this game and the most stupid release date ever and that is that they released it in the same month as Half Life 2!
I wish this game had a remake, I love tbe community that made patches and some aditional things. I like it.
I will buy this game when I get some cash, I dont have a credit card so I cant buy it trought steam. I dint see any copy of VMB in game stores in my country.
Anyway this game is great and I gave it 10/10.
