I've found a bug with this mod.

When installed (through MO2), I chose to install the BaS + JSRS version (since I have those two mods), the mod works wonders, every single ammo weights zero kg now, BUT....

Missiles, the KS-23 ammo and the Gyurza ammo (9x21) are now invisible, their sprites are GONE and are just invisible squares both on vendors and inventory. Why?

For some reason, whenever the military from the south camp attack the rookie village and the military repairman dies, my game crashes. I'm gonna try installing this to my game and see if it solves the crashing by not having him able to get killed...though I hope he doesn't wander into the rookie village or it's gonna be a massacre

To be honest, going with the shiny version shows lazyness on custom troop design, it's just like a gigantic Avenging Angel or a golden model of the Living Saint and nothing more. That's why the non-shiny version is better.
If possible, adding another pair of wings would be great to distinguish the Arch Angel from other Living Saints (IIRC most Archangels on fantasy settings have 4 pairs of wings - 8 total - and some have 3 - six total)

I have an important question that I think I know the answer already, but since I'm not a modder and I have little to no idea how to edit most files, here goes nothing.

Say I have other mods besides the included with UA:TBH and outside of it. Namely, Dark Angels, Black Templars, and Steel Legion mods.

Naturally, I can modify the .module file so that these races load along UA, that much we all know.

The problem being, that these races lack the epic units of UA and thus have no access to titanic units and requisition/energy researches, and if I pity them against a UA army with Titans they will inevitably get stomped on.

No, I do not want to disable titan winconditions to make armies "equal", my point is....

Will merging mods give these additional races the content, or does it need to be done by you on separate modules like you did with Chaos Daemons mod?
Is there a way to give myself these upgrades and epic units to these other mods so that they can be on-par with the other armies?

Even though a Dark Angel titan is an unlikely sight on the battlefield, and I do not care about them having particular models for their chapters (like Black Templars and their crosses and seals on EVERYTHING) as long as they have ACCESS to them and the paint pattern remains...

I could never bring myself to ask this since I thought the UA team would get mad and claim it as stealing content to hand it to other mods or something like that, but I just wanted to know for personal uses

I just really want to play races not included with UA (probably will also download the Thousand Sons mod since Cylarne did a convincing review of it on his youtube channel), with access to the UA content. Otherwise it feels like UA is a waste of loading times if I had to uncheck the apocalypse rules (titans, epic units, further research into requisition and energy output) and I'd rather play those mods with nothing but vanilla Soulstorm. Wich I don't want to ;_;

Hope you take my question for the best, although I kinda know that it's something like what you did with Chaos Daemons and since my modding expertise is nigh unexistant, it's highly unlikely that I could make it work myself.

I wanted to report that the Emperor's Shrine of the Inquisition Daemonhunters does absolutely nothing (it doesn't reveal every infantry on the map as it should) nor does it include any research whatsoever, it's a waste of resources.

That and the Chaplain in Terminator armor on the Army Painter shows a model error box sometimes, but displays in-game just fine anyways.

So far so good, I wish you'd include the Imperator class Titan for the Imperial Guard as a unique Relic unit (at Apocalypse endgame button tier of research of course), and that there was a way to give titan units and research to other "races" installed (I have the Steel Legion, Black Templars and Dark Angels mods combined with UA but they don't get more than Land Raiders and Baneblade pattern tanks)

I love your mod more than anything on this world, I feel like it's indispensable for a TRUE WH40k experience and Soulstorm wouldn't be the same without you guys!
Looking forward for future patches! <3

Oh...I noticed ReShader is only compatible with OpenGL 4.3 minimum and I have a 3.0 compliant GPU (a ****** old GeForce GT 9500...)

Just a heads up:

I was going to post why I didn't notice any changes to the game itself patch after patch, but then I realized:

You screwed the installer's install folder up. It's supposed to be "X:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm" (WITH THE HYPEN), NOT "X:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War Soulstorm" (WITHOUT the hypen)

The mod kept getting installed OUTSIDE the Soulstorm folder and thus it always accessed the older patches.

Just a heads up, no major issues so far, everything is ******* tight as ever, love you guys!

Texturing is fine, it's hard to give more insight since Grey Knights are 80% chrome paint. You say you "removed the pilot" yet in the latest picture it is still there, clear as day, you can even see his legs and all...I think giving it this look would be better than strapping a pilot on it like a Penitent Engine:

Also, I have a question. Is the hammer an optional upgrade? Dreadknights come by default with plasma sword, flamer and bolter, but that hammer looks out of place in this kit... makesd it feel a bit too overloaded with weaponry, even for such a big unit...Are we going to get options to upgrade it to either a full melee-based unit or just leave him with decent ranged firepower like with Dreadnoughts?

I have to agree with you as well. Even though Matt Ward is an abomination and the Grey Knights are the well known imperium's mary sues, I prefer this model to the original.

Dear UA devs...is it too much to ask of you to do this version instead...? Not that you're doing a GREAT job with your models, just pointing out how more aesthetic a non-canon version of the Dreadknight is compared to the original...

Now infiltrated units are merely spotters and ambush troops, this makes me sad. Specially when you play IG and have a passion for Vindicare assassins.

Also...I've noticed the only ones that can attack in stealth are Chaos Cultists, until they're displaced by a grenade or something, then only the Aspiring Champion can still attack in stealth (tested). I think there's a bug on stealth mechanics because neither my Turrets nor my Deepstrike Beacons could break their stealth. I had to send my Whirlwind MKII to manually blast them to pieces because not even a Skull Probe nor my Librarian could bring the bastards out of stealth.

Tbh I didn't like this "Stealth retcon" back at Winter Assault, I don't hate infiltrators as long as I can DETECT THEM, and being able to shoot from stealth is something most snipers aim to do. Considering the Scouts have access to a Sniper Rifle changes a bit their function of mere scouting meat to an actual hidden, long distance support. I mean, we already have PROBE SKULLS for scouting as Speesh Muhreens if we need meat (ehh...metal) scouting units that do absolutely nothing more than just....stand there and provide sight range.

The changes to compensate for this are good, but this requires you to send people way too close to the units for detection, and like I said, I sent my Librarian and a Skull Probe into MELEE RANGE and ******* were still stealthed. And the Aspiring Champion alone nearly took one of my turrets with his plasma pistol alone...

Wraiths (Necrons) are no longer stealthed nor have the capacity to be, this is seriously saddening, even if they don't attack on stealth I think they need a fast, scouting unit to compensate for their slowness. I feel the Necron are highly underpowered early in a match, even if they can build MORE Plasma Generators, because the resource rate for them is EXTREMELY low, even if you're trying to compensate with free Attack Scarabs.

You were right, I reloaded the match and the voices were back, might've been because of alt-tabbing.

Sorry to blame it on the mod. Even if I have 1.2 patched Soulstorm, one tends to think "Well this mod is modifying core aspects of the vanilla game so their fiddling is what causes the errors". My bad.

Also, one question. Is the Titans "Morale" working properly? Either the morale damaging weapons (such as flamethrowers from the Chaos Raptors) seem to do very little morale damage to the Dark Eldar's titan, even with the shield on and I kinda found it overpowered...was only one squad not enough or is there a problem with titan "morale" as well?

Because, after I have installed every complimentary mod and the latest patch, the Dark Eldar have some errors I've found:

- They don't make a single sound when selected, only when moving or attacking
- Capturing a point never shows the "You have captured a strategic point!" notification
- The Soulstorm POWER (Not from the giant cabal fortress but the power itself from the list of powers) doesn't move, even after researching the tech tree that allows it to move It can act as a hiding spot/vehicle/garrison position and once it ends, the units inside it dissappear forever. The soulstorm from the Kabal Fortress can move at will and acts excellent, sometimes even making the enemies attack their own allies.
- Sometimes the Tortured Slaves never collect souls despite given the command, and stand idly despite the purple orbs still being on the floor

Yes I've seen and tested the units, I apologize if I said it the wrong way I know the Dark Eldar GOT new units and stuff, what I meant is that I got these errors that didn't get fixed with the patch. And some of the maps in the pack give a scar error when loading.

Then again, I'm sorry. The mod is amazing, the new particles, voices and units are excellent and the whole massive unit experience it brings is one of the best I've ever played. Despite these minor bugs it's seriously a masterpiece.

I'll be sure to look at the new trailer, I'm still new to MODDB. Bonus points for using Two steps from Hell on the release one!
