I've yet to see a mod that adds some units to the poor, forgotten Dark Eldar.

This version of DoW is called "Soulstorm" for a reason...

Um... the Dark Eldar already got some new stuff, actually.

- Tormentor Titan.
- THREE new structures
- Rampage.
- Reaper
- Shadow Super Heavy

- and years of other long love, especially new abilities. So I have to ask why you say this.

Because, after I have installed every complimentary mod and the latest patch, the Dark Eldar have some errors I've found:

- They don't make a single sound when selected, only when moving or attacking
- Capturing a point never shows the "You have captured a strategic point!" notification
- The Soulstorm POWER (Not from the giant cabal fortress but the power itself from the list of powers) doesn't move, even after researching the tech tree that allows it to move It can act as a hiding spot/vehicle/garrison position and once it ends, the units inside it dissappear forever. The soulstorm from the Kabal Fortress can move at will and acts excellent, sometimes even making the enemies attack their own allies.
- Sometimes the Tortured Slaves never collect souls despite given the command, and stand idly despite the purple orbs still being on the floor

Yes I've seen and tested the units, I apologize if I said it the wrong way I know the Dark Eldar GOT new units and stuff, what I meant is that I got these errors that didn't get fixed with the patch. And some of the maps in the pack give a scar error when loading.

Then again, I'm sorry. The mod is amazing, the new particles, voices and units are excellent and the whole massive unit experience it brings is one of the best I've ever played. Despite these minor bugs it's seriously a masterpiece.

I'll be sure to look at the new trailer, I'm still new to MODDB. Bonus points for using Two steps from Hell on the release one!

Ah. Yeah the DOW engine errors I can never ever fix and people new to DOW tends to blame the mod, so this is globally a natural thing, no worries.

^^^ Happens on random, reload your game and the sounds and messages come back most of the time. The purple idly command is also not mod related but DOW engine related. No patch will ever fix these.

About the Soulstorm not moving, that is mod related and will be fixed in version 1.72.

You were right, I reloaded the match and the voices were back, might've been because of alt-tabbing.

Sorry to blame it on the mod. Even if I have 1.2 patched Soulstorm, one tends to think "Well this mod is modifying core aspects of the vanilla game so their fiddling is what causes the errors". My bad.

Also, one question. Is the Titans "Morale" working properly? Either the morale damaging weapons (such as flamethrowers from the Chaos Raptors) seem to do very little morale damage to the Dark Eldar's titan, even with the shield on and I kinda found it overpowered...was only one squad not enough or is there a problem with titan "morale" as well?

Titan morale is actually pretty dandy. The Dark Eldar have very tough shields because over time they drain and if broken, they attack their own allies. Morale gets replenished with a lot of souls, but when that shield is down the DE Titan is done for. :3

One squad does not cut taking down shields. :3
