After a long stretch of modifying the map named Midnight Sun, I finally reached the end of this map's conversion. This map was in development for more than a year and my initial plan was to release this along with all the other night-to-day maps together in one pack last year, but due to a lot of issues I had with the lightmapping process, I had to postpone my work on this. Now I am back on working on these conversions and so far my end results of this map is quite something that I am satisfied with.
Expect to see the other night maps soon. All of them will be done by the end of the month so also expect a release around the corner. :)

Yep, BTW the shadows on the terrain still look default. Can that be done?
Well that is the plan. These maps won't have the HD shadows, because that is a whole different task on its own.
The HD maps will come much later. These night-to-day maps are created so that they can look much like the way DICE had made their day maps. Overall I'm making my work consistent with the rest of the vanilla BF2 content.
I am planning to make an HD version of Gulf of Oman which will have the HD shadows, along with other stuff like HD textures and stuff. That will be after these map conversions :)
