Haha! I called this at the start when it was a HL2 mod, I KNEW this would happen. Good on you!
Truly awesome and professional work mate.
A freaky Shipping crate filled warehouse with jumping puzzles? :D
Looking very cool. I like the gritty desolate feel.
This is looking very very cool. So it's going to have a very realistic First person layout Similar to mirrors edge yes? Any reason why you decided to go for the source engine over the free and more useable UDK?
I don't want your sex.
Are you okay with me saying that your art totally rocks my world? I love the depth and complexity of all your digital paints. You are just too damn good.
Unsurmountable mountains guys! looking good.
I will say that the links between the cubes looks too dry and unprocessed. It doesn't blend at all with the background.
Awesome music man.
No it's encoded in a format. Voice when slowed down that much sounds nothing like this because of natural breaks in speech and modulations of pitch. This is pure data.
Okay i'm Something of an amateur composer myself. And i have to say i'm very impressed with this. The composition and the sonics are great. In particular i like the little industrial bassline synth with the step sequencer on the Cutoff at the start and all the little touches like that.
I'm also glad the composer maintained a good dynamic ranges. The quiet parts are quiet and the loud parts are loud. None of the usual blemishes from computer based production.
My main complaint would have to be that as a "theme" song. It doesn't have any particular theme or leitmotif i'd associate with it. You think of jurassic park, you have a melody in your head. You think of star wars, you have a melody in your head you associate with it. To me this sounds a lot like filmic background score rather than an overarching theme
Where's the iron maiden posters on the wall? come on not very realistic is it.
This doesn't bode well for my computers processor.
thanks for the advice ;)
Well merry christmas to you too ;). Just looked up asylum now, looks pretty sweet i'll definitely start tracking that. Hopefully you can add some really cool stuff to it :). I do have a question though, how did you go about approaching the team to work on their mod? just interested because i might start scoring some later.
Needless to say i am completely blown away, this is a seriously pro effort guys. Can't wait to pick this up later :)
Godrays? i'd always called them crepuscular rays :).
The SSAO is very impressive though, you guys rock :)
You're a seriously talented guy. Excellent gallery :)
Thanks for the add, My friend was a little bummed about not feeling good enough about his concept art abilities (he's 16). I mentioned your work of proof of how good you can get in a short time span if you apply yourself. he was pretty blown away actually. Absolutely love your stuff :)
It has nice themes but it's mixed and mastered very poorly. The snare is lost and too dry. And the entire thing isn't quite wet enough, and sounds like it's made with an older sample set. Giving it a "fake" sound.
Superb, very cool fractals.
I had a talk with Mohzart elsewhere. According to him it was too much workload, and it's pretty much dead for now. Unfortunate :|
Hey what's happening with wreck! i'm getting worried :(
Nice bump and normal maps.
Anybody else notice the depth of field blurring? Little touches like that will make this game.
Looking really promising for so early in the development cycle, not particularly sold on the vehicle physics yet, car looks easily bumped around. like a toy car. But i'm sure that's being fixed :)
