Hi all, I'm Tim and I'm designing and making website's as living and as hobby, besides that I make mods for command and conquer Generals Zero Hour those mods are, Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun Redux and Halo Evolutions. Recently I'm also working with Unity3D to make mobile browser pc/mac and xbox/ps3 games with it. The idea is not clear but it would come with its development I do already have a test map that could be use as one of the campaign missions but like I said the idea is just dark now and I'm also testing around with it, I do made it possible to get AI in my Unity3D game, but the Online Multiplayer isnt working correctly, need to know more just drop it on my wall/comment box and I'll answer it on your page, remember that if you reply to my comment on your page I wont see that you reply'd to me so be sure that you post it on my wall again, and if you want to make sure I do answer it the send me a PM. 1 MAC blast would be something you can use yes but with the proper buildings of-course.

2 Campaign is something I'm working on so now and then its isnt solid but I'm writing it,

3 Allot of units need voices really.

4 Release when ? Well we get allot of that quetions and I have to say sorry I dont know. I dont want to release a beta with graphical issue's

I never have issue's regarding .rar or .zip using Windows, I'm a windows user for a long time and use winrar or 7zip to open and extract the contents from the archive. To answer your questions. We'll annouce when the mod is released or when we are doing a closed beta state, to answer your second question. The mod will not contain a MCV but your main HQ is not stationary like in Halo Wars, you are able to expand your base in different locations however if you do that you dont have the abillity to construct every building but are limited to what you have this will also effect your options on vehicle's air units, infantry and defences. So you are needed to take a close eye on your main base while you are expending your army and bases.

I dont know when the mod will be released, yesterday I had a play testt against the AI and the Covenant as a medium ai destroyed me and 1 hard and 1 brutal ai under 20 minutes. So there is some balancing we have to do, next to the balancing we need to work on some several other things. So the state of the mod is close but with the several small things that still have to be done its not ready yet for a release. However I'm thinking about to do a close beta to get some feedback on the balancing and faster bug finding.

I have been using moddb 2006 and seen it grow and I like to see the new game's showing up here at moddb, and I like to see moddb being the portal to the rest like indiedb, slidedb and desura. But the idea Thanoshld got is also a great one.

I know but the Insurrection is not a sub faction of the UNSC so it wont make sense to have them as a Sub faction under the UNSC.

Story wise this mod is not following any events during the halo canon but getting its own story.

Yeah I took some inspiration for the helmet of the old jackal design, the shield is also inspired by the Pre halo game where the elites had the diamond shape shields, for the rest I took the liberty to give the jackals the elite chest plate for thicker armor and shields and removed some armor plates since the heretics need to do with what they have. I didn't go with the gold plating design for the jackal because their own skin color is brown-is which make it hard to see the armor and the unit it self on desert themed maps, however this can changes during the development of the Heretic faction ingame.

a UNSC insurrection faction doesnt make sense, but yeah a Heretic faction will be included with the mod not on launch because we want to make each faction unique with their art style.

No problem at all, I'm not a native English speaker so I hope my grammar is correct. I got some steam codes laying around for when we are ready with a beta so be sure to watch us here on moddb or on facebook and twitter to get a chance on getting the game for free. I together with Unikraken from Sins of the Prophets still have two code's laying around for Sins of a Solar Rebellion to play Sins of The Prophets for the people that doesnt own the game for the mod, we are not sure on how we are going to reproduced them yet but we will find a way for that. what I'm saying is maybe you dont have to buy the game at all :).

Yes it's possible in the SAGE engine to have infantry transform in a different unit, so we will see if we can make that because that's how flood work.

Hi, RadioactiveEJ thanks for the kind words. To answer you questions, the mod started in 2011 that is 5 years ago, but we are getting close to a beta state of the mod I have said that allot of time's but understand that the small things take time like getting the audio right for the units when firing, getting people to voice act for unsc and covenant units. Finding voice actors is a hard thing these days but we got several done. The music isn't from any Halo game we got our own Soundtrack composed by Nicolas which is a great music composer and he made same great soundtracks for the mod. We will release some of them in the future. You can listing to some of them in the video section of our moddb page. However this year (2016) there will be no release but somewhere mid or end 2017 when everything goes's fine. Like in the past we had an issue where an unknown code caused the mod to crash and we could not find the cause of that so we had to start from scratch with the coding.

the problem with a flood faction is mostly design we can use the proto grave mind and some designs from Halo Wars 1 but the unit roster would be to small to even counter attack the unsc/covenant.

this sounds like you havent all the file's included from different modding experience, try to redownload the mod and add all the files on the mod directory for the game and relaunch the game if that doesnt work try uninstalling the mod and game and re install the game and mod. if that doesnt work go to the forums and trouble shoot over there.
