I install and run it as per the tutorials, nothing special.
This all comes down to the same remaining issue !
All ship loadouts have not been rebuilt in years and so are incorrect ! The info cards inturn are not correct.
If anyone has the time to spend re-writing the information and the correct basic loadouts and fighter loadouts then the mod will run 1000% smoother.
Ive cleaned the engine 90% but the configs that remain are the root cause of all issues that remain.
both features and tutorials make this information available.
by all means, produce the ui templates and ill add them as an option.

The ship info cards / loadouts are the one thing that is still holding the mod back... so much work to clean them !
The turret bug is a pain when you dont notice it and cain your money but it atleast doesnt kill the gameplay.
I wish i could plow some more time and love into making it more stable and fun to play but what remains needs more than one man and its too old to bring enough attention.
Anyone can feel free to drop me an email, if they feel like picking up the mantle. I can provide dev files and partly completed work.

is a known bug with latest release. Fixes bein worked on.

Its just UAC in windows 7 stoping Mod manager, disable user account control while activating mods. and set mod manager and freelancer as run as admin. Works perfectly fine in Win 7 64 or 32.
Well read the info and you will see there is no Official Rebalance server anyone is allowed to make there own server, so just because u see a server in the list doesnt mean its public !
Errm multiplayer is just OP with other real people !

Well in rebalance your not forced too do any of that your just given choices. and rebalance can be run on anyones server (run your own if u want).
you need to deactivate and delete Rc3 before u use Rc4 as with any fresh install, if u are talking about the patch then yes u also need to dectivate the mod before installing patches.
Its all listed in the tutorials how to install.
just double click on the .flmm file u downloaded,
u dont need to extract anything your self
Mod manager does it when u double click on the mod file.
Freelancer was made along time ago and doesnt recognise newer cards and settings. People made updated scripts for adding info for new cards to work but im not sure if any more updates been released in a while.
As for running Reblance u shoulndnt use anything like quickfix patch
as these were integrated into rebalance an adding after will only cause problems. Reblance is stand alone, shouldnt be a need for global server fix or any patches addons. But if any global server being updated might be advised to use an updated version.

with the mission saying need higher lv, im sketchy on info as its been a while but i think in single player which i assume ur playing cos u said you dont like redoing missions :) single player is capped at lv 40.
As Multiplayer was introduced in 3.56 it might be that some gear has set lv releases for over lv 40 being unreachable in Sp, this may be on purpose as mp only gear or it may be a code error.
Based on the Multiplayer changes i remember MP leveling is alot slower than Single player but the later levels take much larger gaps in wealth to increase your level. It maybe that inorder to actualy get given the next level, u may need several million more to acheive enough wealth to progress.

Some of them arnt though, if your using previous saves that could cause u issues, but prob not as many as a listed. Save game cleaner might help u some what with new hash codes in current versions.
The enemy next to the enemy ur tageting is prob due to hull explosion, if your too close you also will take heavy damage or possibly die. It depends on how much sheild / hp is left when a ship close by dies.

On your first question, i dont give or know info related to placments of items or ships, if u really wish to cheat to get the location use, FL Data Storm or a similar Freelancer data displayer.
Second, Ill look into why Gamma is causing problems see if i can find a fix.
Third, is a known freelancer bug with large ships, as large ships were not ment to be played, Any dock with a docking station aswell as a dock ring should be fine, Small ships should be fine on all docks as far as im aware.

U need to use these settings if your connecting to the Koehler server in Multi-player.
If your using singleplayer mode then u can choose anything u like.
There are a few guides on modding certain areas of the game, but this pack mainly just contains the tools to do the jobs, you will need to search places like lancers reactor, Digital brilliance and old forums for tutorials on how too's.
The character editor is included with the download in the main install
just comes as a seperate flmm file.
