Rebalance 3.56
c4 brings back Multiple Cruise speeds / sellable engines / Voice Call signs / ENB Series graphics update / new improved FLhook system / 1680x1050 support / Large Ship Docking / Hit boxes improved / working GLS imbeded / plus a whole load of fixes tweaks and improvments to the mod.

Rebalance is now available in compressed ini format.
this should make it run a little faster (good for servers)
Currently this will be available as a seperate download untill its reported as working fine.

panzer225 to all-I wish Rebalanced had Discovery weapons control guidelines.Discovery has ship guns arranged level 1 and level 2 guns as new level 1 guns,3 and 4 guns as new level 2 guns,5 and 6 as 3 guns,7 and 8 as 4 guns,and 9 and 10 as 5 guns.New class 6 is transport guns only.Class 7 is gunboat guns and turrets,Class 8 are Destroyer guns and turrets,Class 9 are crusier guns and turrets,and Class 10 is Battleship guns and turrets.In Rebalanced you can mount a Nomad turret on a Patriot fighter,the turret IS BIGGER than the ship,AND YOU CAN CARRY an extra 10 or 15 turrets as cargo!!

panzer225 here-More on my rewrite of Freelancer-All area blocks,maps,will use capital letters:A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H for X co-ordinance,numbers:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 for Y co-ordinance,and small letters:s,t,u,v,w,x,y,z for Z co-ordinance.Since the present map of freelancer more 2D,the map will be scaled out in all three dimensions increasing the area of each location map,to be placed in a much larger cube-the Surius Sector,which means each location map will contain even more trade lanes,jump holes,stations,wreaks,planets,object fields,and strange objects.

panzer225 to all-Solved the operation problems Rebalanced 3.55 and Rebalanced 3.56 Rc4-Just use an older Windows XP system!!!On my older multi-boot system,which has,DOS-Win95-Win98-Win XP on it,I use a FX 5200 video card,and it runs Freelancer Mods perfectly !!!On my gaming rig,which has a nvidia 450 GTS 1 gig,I had to go to the oldest video driver for the card to run freelancer mods.Or in most mods,with Win 7 32 bit--and Win 7 64bit,run the mods in Win XP mode!!!

panzer225 here-So far my rewrite of Freelancer is at 15 percent done.Changing EVERYTHING to minimum 32-bit is so challenging,SO FAR!!Many changes in the works,so here is some what's being changed,for the better!! #1.SCALE--EVERYTHING IS NOW METRIC!!!AND IN 3-D!!All flying objects in space,the smallest possible spaceship is the smallest escape pod in the game,the Mark 3-one cubic meter-life support for one humanoid,or similar creature.It just floats around,just hoping to be picked up by ANYBODY!!!The Mark 4 escape pod-2 meters long by 1 meter wide,has room for 2,has basic steering jets,and a basic drive to propel you to the nearest station,trade lane,or planet,so you can restart the game again!!

I have no problem blowing up any mission target, whether a capship, or a fighter.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
*Some of the torpedo ammo has wrong names, such as "Ohashi border station" and the like.
*The White Star ship has extremely weird flight pattern, making this beauty impossible to fly :(
*In Turret view, many bigger ships simply cannot be seen as a whole from this 3rd person view. Just to remind you, the Discovery mod people succeeded in this.
* Millenium Falcon 2: It seems that purchasing of a 2nd or 3rd turret adds one more free turret; after that, you may buy as many more as you like, the onboard comp will say "mounted," and the amount of credits will be spent - but no turrets will be mounted or visible in your cargo hold. Also, the infocard says that this ship has 5 turrets, and it does, in fact, have like 8-9.

Glad to see someone posting with no crashes on cap ships :)

The ship info cards / loadouts are the one thing that is still holding the mod back... so much work to clean them !

The turret bug is a pain when you dont notice it and cain your money but it atleast doesnt kill the gameplay.

I wish i could plow some more time and love into making it more stable and fun to play but what remains needs more than one man and its too old to bring enough attention.

Anyone can feel free to drop me an email, if they feel like picking up the mantle. I can provide dev files and partly completed work.
