does this help you run freelancer online
I wouldnt say it helps you run Freelancer online but its a moddification to the whole of freelancer which inturn edits the multiplayer experience by adding in a vast amount of new items.
If your having a problem connecting online pop over the mod official page link for Digital Brilliance and im sure in forums we can get you working online.
how to piay in single modle
Hi, I have installed the full version of this, and seen that I need to install the Character Editor separately - but i can't seem to find this to download? does anyone know where i can get this from?
The character editor is included with the download in the main install
just comes as a seperate flmm file.

I've got some questions to ask you:
First, I saw some top secret weapons used by Corsairs, named Euro 3 and Proton warp gun.Where can I find them? I have purchased 2 hidden bases(LSF Hideout Base, LSF Nihili Base) and I found only the single shot prototype, which is very weak.
Second, the game crashes from 5 to 5 minutes only in Omicron Alpha System.This happens to all users.My game crashes also in Omicron Gamma sometimes.But I never met a crash on other systems.I think it's just a bug, however, I can handle it.
Third thing, your ship remains stucked in some bases(luxury liners and 80% of the battleship).You get stucked every time when you get out of the base-the gates close and you can't get out even if you have a small ship like Condor(my favourite).
Once again, cheers for this mod.It's simply amazing:)

My work is authorised by Michael as he is not involved in Freelancer anymore.
On your first question, i dont give or know info related to placments of items or ships, if u really wish to cheat to get the location use, FL Data Storm or a similar Freelancer data displayer.
Second, Ill look into why Gamma is causing problems see if i can find a fix.
Third, is a known freelancer bug with large ships, as large ships were not ment to be played, Any dock with a docking station aswell as a dock ring should be fine, Small ships should be fine on all docks as far as im aware.

I've found another bug:
Whenever you want to buy a new ship, its description comes totally wrong on some bases.For e.g., on Battleship Missouri(sorry for giving spoilers) there is the Defender Prototype ship.There it says that it has 4200 armor, but when you buy it and go outside, it has a 10800.It can be a totally mess if you saw a good looking ship and it tells there that it is much less armored and supports less guns or shields than it actually does.And that's only an example, there are much more cases like this.
The ,,stucked into a base'' problem happens on some bases even you have a small ship( you told me about battleships and other ,,leviathans''.
Man, don;t get this my words as ,,this guy is whinning too much''.I really like Freelancer( even I played it 2 years ago, replayed it again 2 months ago and now with The Rebalance mod-I'm using same saves, moving them whenever it backs them up), so I'm just posting you some issues.

When you select an enemy and fire upon him, it hits the other one near him, instead of the selected enemy.First, I thought that my weapons aren't in range, but, no, the closest enemy to the selected one explodes.Happens often.
Some of what u listed are known bugs, thx for adding info ;)
Some of them arnt though, if your using previous saves that could cause u issues, but prob not as many as a listed. Save game cleaner might help u some what with new hash codes in current versions.
The enemy next to the enemy ur tageting is prob due to hull explosion, if your too close you also will take heavy damage or possibly die. It depends on how much sheild / hp is left when a ship close by dies.
Man, isn't nice to start from the beginning.That's why I use the same saves.Those missions bore me.
Another happy thing: I got the weapons I asked you for above:).I thought those aren't sold at a special base, and, as the Corsairs didn't want to drop them for free, I had to kill dozens of them.Epic loot is kinda good here in Rebalance.
A quiestion I wanted to ask you for some time: on Planet Crete, Planet Malta and many other great bases you can't do missions anymore.It says ,,come back when you are a more advanced pilot''.And my level is 38.Also, I tried to buy a special cannon, but it said I need level 40 to purchase it.It's strange, I cannot advance in level, however, it says ,,next level requirement-mission'' when I press F8 to see my current worth(it's about 50 million now).I started a new game, finished up some missions, but, still, I cannot do random mission on 70% of the bases(plus I started the game with a fresh freelancer installation).I can do some missions, but I get 40k credits max for each one, while in the original Freelancer I could earn about 145k for each one.
About the bugs, with them, or without them, the game is still excellent.
I just cannot believe it, I tried so many mods for Freelancer, but none is as good as Rebalance.

with the mission saying need higher lv, im sketchy on info as its been a while but i think in single player which i assume ur playing cos u said you dont like redoing missions :) single player is capped at lv 40.
As Multiplayer was introduced in 3.56 it might be that some gear has set lv releases for over lv 40 being unreachable in Sp, this may be on purpose as mp only gear or it may be a code error.
Based on the Multiplayer changes i remember MP leveling is alot slower than Single player but the later levels take much larger gaps in wealth to increase your level. It maybe that inorder to actualy get given the next level, u may need several million more to acheive enough wealth to progress.
