Will this game have any co-op play? That's one thing I always thought was missing from games like Pirates. You have a whole fleet, but you can only control one ship. Either way, this looks like a great game. Keep up the good work!

Is this game original, or is it an adaptation of an Asian-market game?

I'm having some issues getting this to run right. I've got a fresh UT install, patched to 3369 with the Bonus Pack installed. Ballistic Weapons 2.5 is installed and works fine. When I try to install this, it acts as if nothing's there. Is v10 (in addition to BW) all I need to get this to work?

I fully support this. Although, that could be seen as a bit selfish.

Giving the AI the ability to use shield batteries and nanobots makes sense on paper, but to me, having to kill each and every enemy the equivalent of ten times or more simply because I have to wait for them to run out of bots and batteries just isn't fun for me. I understand the logic behind it, but in my opinion, it takes away from the fun of the game. Also, the new dogfighting AI seems to fly far too erratically. I logged on for the first time and (in a difficulty 1 mission) had to fight four Lane Hacker Stilettos that flew like they were on speed and had near-infinite regen capabilities. A bit daunting for a new player. Is there any way to play with the old AI in place, or to make it an option? Just thought I'd throw the thought out, and I'd appreciate any feedback.

I was just browsing through the Deus Ex area...I had no idea that the mods for this game were still kicking. This is looking like quality stuff, guys, keep up the good work! I'll definitely reinstall good ol' DX for this one. It's been far too long since I played it, anyway.

The agency Cate works for is called UNITY, and the doctor's name is Dr. Schenker. Just noticed the mistake in the game description.

The one thing I love about this game is that it never takes itself too seriously. I was looking at an old issue of PCGamer, and they thought that this game had a little too much humor in it. But honestly, the games that dominated the FPS scene in that day (Q3, UT) could have used a laugh. Not that I have anything against Quake or Unreal, but this game offered not only an exciting storyline, but created a world for the player to experience. If a game can make me laugh one second and have my heart racing the next, it certainly gets my vote. If you haven't picked up this game yet, do it. You'll be glad you did.

Wow, I'm certainly looking forward to this one. I'm a really big history buff, and I'm glad that feudal Japan is finally getting some gaming attention. It's a fascinating period in history...really, check it out. What makes this mod stand out is the depth of gameplay the team's going for here. On one hand, you've got characters like the No-Dachi Meijin, a slow but powerful attacker, and on the other hand you've got fast, defense-based soldiers like the Yari Ashigaru. The reason this mod's taking so long is the lack of a stable coder. If the code for the mod's not there, it just can't work. The models and skins look great on this mod! (I just wish they'd made the No-Dachi warriors hold the sword so I could get a look at it.) Anyway, this mod definitely looks like it's going to add a new spin on gameplay for the HL engine. And to think it all started with Quake II... I'm looking forward to it, whenever it comes out, and I want to tell the team (if they happen to look at this review...) that it looks great so far, and I hope to meet you on the plains of battle someday!

This is one of the best multiplayer games I've played to date. It just feels right. In this game, unlike in several others I've played, no one gun is clearly superior to the others. It's all about finding a weapon you're comfortable with and getting good with it. (My personal favorite's the Thompson) Everything's been integrated into the game so well. From tanks and airplanes to jeeps and half-tracks, everything pretty much handles the way you'd expect it to. My only issue with this game is the absence of the M1 Garand. Certainly the "rifle that won the war" should be featured in a game that so accurately portrays a World War II battlefield. Other than that, the game is simply great. I'm particularly thankful for the bots, because I'm not always going to be on a LAN. Anyway, it's a game I can highly recommend for any fan of the FPS genre.

That's strange. AHL 5.5 always ran rock solid on my system. :S Oh well, thanks for the patch!

Wow. This game is amazing. When you've got only one person on your team, of course, memories of good old Diablo will be sure to come flooding back. Once the other team members join in, however, it's a whole different story. You can sculpt the perfect fighter, just for you, from four different attributes: Melee, Ranged, Nature Magic and Combat Magic. Naturally, the more you use a particular skill, the better you'll be with it. The graphics leave you wiping a puddle of drool from the floor, and the control scheme drops you gently into the game world. The squad tactics can get tricky, but by the time you have to worry about them, you'll be an ace. Once you beat the single player world, however, there's nothing for your single player party to do. You have to take them one by one into the multiplayer world. If there was only a way to take your party through the single player world again, just on a harder difficulty, I'd have no complaints about this otherwise wonderful game. It really lacks SP replay value...its only flaw.

It's a great mod...when it works. All the diving, the shooting, the dodging...it's awesome. The single player mode needs a lot of work, but it shows a lot of promise. The Max Payne-esque bullet time is a wonderful change from vanilla HL...Try it out. It's worth it.
