AHL: Directors Cut is a project started by the Ministry of Action. The ministry is a group of people who still enjoy AHL and think that it has a life ahead of it. In our opinion AHL is a wonderful formula for online play, but a few bad design decisions spoiled the brew.
Thus we have been busy making improvements to AHL v1, which was meant to be the final one. We have tried to improve overall accessability, weapon behaviour and content. At release we will put up a big changes list that shows all new features and changes.
We hope that this new version will get some people playing again. We also aim to maintain a flow of new players coming in and trying out AHL. Maybe people will even be inspired again to make new content. We are realistic and do not expect 200 players by tomorrow; but AHL still has plenty to offer!

AHL : Directors Cut RC2 is now available for download.
The development team managed to get the release candidate out even with the dutch trying to sabotage it with beer and a rather messy night out in gronigen.
This release re-introduces goals which remained broken from the Beta 3 days. RC2 allows the mapper to control the game. We have bundled this release with 8 goal maps (some of them rather old). We hope people will now create a few new maps with different goals.
Current goals maps are :
Metro - Hunted scenario
Wikkedcity - Hunted scenario
Wikkedkorp - Dual NPC assassination scenario
Actionrail - Bombing scenario
UrbanRiot - NPC assassination scenario
Engholm - NPC assassination scenario
PlexHarbour - NPC assassination scenario
Onslaught2 - Defuse scenario
Hopefully there will be more shortly.

I downloaded this a few years ago...Basically it's like The Specialists but it sucks ass.

Someone should make a zombie mod for AHL. It would be awesome to use thwe weapons in this game to kill zombies

Kelthuzard29, why? Are you playing with an illegal copy of HL, because you're shooting yourself in the foot if you are. It's so cheap you can get it for $5 at a discount bin.
I'm re-installing HL just for this mod.
Man, AHL brings back some really fond memories of my days playing HL (times when I'd download every mod I could find on Google). Can't wait until this one releases!

Hopefully once this release is out we can tempt some mappers to make some snazzy goal maps. This current release has some old skool goal maps, they aren't the prettiest maps about, but they are fun at least. :)
