Hello AUM-ROM players,

I released my AUM-ROM 2.6.

!!! It is mandatory to use the new patch with the AUM-ROM vanilla version and the AUM-ROM Radious version !!!

- fully save game compatible if you started already a new campaign with the new patch/DLC
- it should be save game compatible if you use an old campaign and play further with the new patch/DLC. But it is highly recommended by the developers to start a new campaign to fully benefit from all their changes and updates.
- adapted both AUM-ROM versions fully technically to the new patch/DLC
- adapted the feature "Fame levels changes" related to the new patch/DLC
- adapted the feature "Vanilla mercenaries recruitment chances" related to the new patch/DLC
- tested the included "Rome 2 Custom Battle Crash Fix" by RYAN related to the new patch/DLC and it is working
- all custom units are not available in the two new DLC's "Empire Divided" and "Rise of the Republic". The reason is because they use both a different time frame and my units wouldn't fit good into these time frames. I listed the
details on my Total War Center thread about which units can be recruited in which campaigns.

- adjusted the units limits of several custom units
- optimized the general recruitment priorities of the AI
- removed all custom and vanilla trading ships in the DARTHMOD version as it is intended for the DARTHMOD gameplay. All available warships have the trading ability in the DARTHMOD version.
If you or the AI already built custom and/or vanilla trading ships, then these ships will be kept in your current save game. But they aren't anymore available if you start a new DARTHMOD campaign.

I updated the first post with new information. I added examples of the file user.empire_script.txt within the downloads for new players.

I updated also the UPC-EMP language file is mandatory to display the unit names and descriptions.

I guess you mean the optional graphics pack. Please re-download it and put it again into the download folder.

Yes you can install both versions, but then you would have to switch or edit manually the user.empire_script.txt each time when you switch from one version to the other.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

And you must play two campaigns, one with vanilla and one with Darthmod as they wouldn't load if crossed while playing.

I released my AUM-ATT 2.7.

- several small optimizations related to the custom units
- updated both versions on Steam after a long time because I had issues with updating my Attila mods on Steam. This issue happenend also to other modders since the latest Attila launcher update.

MANUAL Installation information:

You don't have to manually install AUM-ATT anymore and you can subscribe to Steam again. If you prefer to install AUM-ATT manually, then you can still install it to the normal Attila data folder.

Here are some additional informations about the current state where mods are stored. CA changed the way how Steam manages the Attila mods.

OLD Mods (updated before the last launcher update) are still in the normal Attila data folder:

NEW Mods (updated after the last launcher update) will be only stored in this folder below and they will be deleted in the Attila data folder of the subscribers:

It is not guaranteed that the old campaigns will work with the new patch. This is not directly related to AUM-ROM as it can happen to other mods too. Especially if you use great overhaul mods.

I didn't add my custom units to the new DLC campaign as there are already similar vanilla units available for several factions.

!!! It is mandatory to use the new patch with the AUM-ROM vanilla version !!!

If you use the AUM-ROM vanilla version without any big gameplay changing or overhauls mods, then the old save games of your campaigns should work with the new patch.

If you started already a new campagin with the new patch, then you can also activate AUM-ROM vanilla in your existing campaign.

The AUM-ROM vanilla version works if you bought the DLC or if you didn't bought the DLC.

> AUM-ROM RADIOUS

!!! It is mandatory to use the old patch 17 with the AUM-ROM Radious version !!!

If you use the AUM-ROM Radious version then the old save games of your campaigns will only work if you use the old patch 17.

If you started already a new campagin with the old patch 17, then you can also activate AUM-ROM Radious in your existing campaign.

There is a solution with which you can still play further your old campaigns and use the RADIOUS mods and the AUM-ROM Radious version:

1. Open "Games" in Steam go right click on "Total War: Rome 2" in your games list.
2. Select "Properties"
3. Select the tab "Betas"
4. Select the option "patch_17" in the drop-down list

After this change the old patch 17 will be downloaded and you can play your old save games of your RADIOUS campaigns further.

If you want the new patch/DLC again, then you can de-select the "patch_17" in the drop-down list and choose "NONE - unsubscribe from all beta programs" that the
newest patch will be downloaded and the new patch/DLC is available. But remember that you can't play the Radious mods without the patch 17.

If the Radious overhaul will be updated to the new patch/DLC, then I will of course also adapt the AUM-ROM Radious version fully to the new patch/DLC.

You need to put the UPC-NAP file into your Napoleon data folder here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War\data

It loads automatically and there is no need to add it to the user script.

Hello dridri, I didn't used the Imperial Destroyer mod or created a special adapted version for this awesome overhaul. So I can't guarantee if it works. I suggest to try the AUM-EMP vanilla version with ID, but of course then the balance isn't fully adapted.

Hello didamigo, basically until AUM-EMP 3.0 I supported Imperial Splendour with a separate version too. But from then on I couldn't handle anymore the time which would be needed to do more than 2 versions of AUM-EMP. Basically you could use the vanilla version with Imperial Splendour, but of course then it isn't fully adapted in terms of the balancing. But it should work though.

It is mandatory to install the special language project file UPC-EMP too. As I've written it in the detailed installation instructions on my Total War Center thread.
