Actually looks worse than vanilla

Confirmed none of this works.

I really love this mod, I always found the recoil mechanics of CSS more forgiving/better then GSGO or 1.6's recoil mechanics. Changes how you have to play Half-Life 2, a lot more stop and go type of gameplay to maintain accuracy, I really enjoyed it.

Played through the whole campaign with these weapons. Only problem I encountered was the SMOD bloodspurt FX on the zombies is broken. The game is trying to place red blood alongside the alien blood, and I think something might be conflicting there.

While, this isn't a massive issue obviously, I decided to fix it temporarily with console commands until the mod(hopefully) gets another update. Also, hopefully the bleed effects can be toned down permanently in the future. The blood spurts are cool, but when they're already on the ground and it still sounds like someone is splashing water on the floor, jarring.

But anyway to fix it, type in console, gore_bleeding 0

TL:DR Great mod, fundamentally changes the gameplay of HL2 into something a bit more slow paced. Very enjoyable for CSS enjoyers.

EDIT: Actually, that command nor any of the usual SMOD commands seem to actually work. Hopefully a patch can get made to fix this.

The mod was waaaay better than I expected. Good work.

No one knows. No updates in over a year, it could be dead. And with Stalker 2 right around the corner, I wouldn't be surprised if the mod is dead.

Played around with it installed, the spawns are a little crazy... Can't even upgrade anything or talk to any npcs since there is a constant onslaught of random enemies. It's a blast when you're out and about, but theres a few issues.

This mod is broken, don't download it. You're better off downloading the standalone tactical redux, or the tactical life v2.

thought this was going to be another throwaway meme mod. surprisingly good. next time record the text to speech at a higher volume. The **** these spergs are saying is unintelligible. Good mod
