Thanks! Just got mine.
Will you be providing Groupees with Desura keys for Bundle of the Damned 2 purchasers?
It's been months and Groupees still hasn't provided desura keys. Any update on the situation?
My comment was deleted by the dev, along with all of juanjavaloyes' comments. There were probably more, but I don't remember all of them. A lot of the comments I've seen deleted weren't offensive at all.
I'm having the same issue, and posted in the same thread in the support section. Surprised this issue hasn't been fixed since January..
I won your game through the GOG forum giveaway hosted by ne-zavarj, thanks!
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I'm getting the same error.. reinstalling doesn't fix it.
I'm not sure if the next level gets unlocked, I'll have to check the next time I play it.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but there's an annoying random bug that results in level completion failure. Sometimes when I finish a level, it'll act as if I've failed it for no apparent reason.. I get 100% clear of corruption and it'll still do it randomly. I've had it happened to me about 3 times so far..
I emailed them yesterday and their first response was "That seems very strange, are you logging into multiple accounts?"
This is the only account I've ever logged into, so that's definitely not the problem. I told them that, and now I'm waiting for a followup reply.
That's very strange. Every friend I asked to test the problem had the same issue, along with a lot of people that installed the game when Build a Bundle 2 was live, many people talked about it in the Groupees chat. No idea why it works for you, but no one else I've come in contact with. I never moved my Desura install. This is the only game out of my entire Desura game collection that has this issue. I'm really surprised it hasn't been fixed yet. I might contact their support, but I highly doubt it'll solve anything, otherwise it would've been fixed months ago..
I'm confused as to why I would need to contact support when it's an issue that affects everyone and has been going on for a few months. You could test the issue yourself and then tell them what the problem is. Basically all you have to do is install the game, close the Desura client, relaunch the Desura client.. and then it'll act like the game isn't installed and ask to verify your game files before it'll let you launch the game again.
I posted on your game's profile page because I thought you'd want to know that the bug is still occuring. I'm sure at least a few people have reported it to Desura's support with no success of having it fixed.. it's been quite a while since the bug started occuring. I got it from Groupees Build a Bundle 2 and it's been occuring since then (so I guess it's been happening since July, if not possibly before then?).
Will the Desura bug where the client doesn't think the game is installed ever be fixed? I realize that I can just launch the game from the game's folder as a work around, but I use the client to launch most of my games. Tried reinstalling it, still doesn't fix it.
omgawrd first comment!!!!!
Just updated to v2.18.5 and I don't see any improvement. The microstuttering is constant, happens everywhere. My CPU and GPU load/usage stays about the same regardless of microstuttering, around 15-18 average, never goes above 20. Many people aren't sensitive to microstuttering or don't know what it is.. and microstuttering doesn't always happen on all rigs, which could explain why it hasn't been reported (if its happening to anyone else).
Yeah I have the latest Java version installed, tried multiple video card drivers (including the latest version), exited/turned off all background applications.. none of that helped any.
I have the GamersGate version of this (which is currently version 2.18.4) and I'm getting a lot of microstuttering (not sure what else to call it) using an i5 2500k + Radeon HD 7970. Is there any fix for this? I tried messing with the settings and none of them have any effect. It's bad enough that it makes the game difficult to play.
