Oh wow, I hadn't thought of bandit factions as a way to represent groups like that. Would also help as a way to keep them localized to areas like the Barrow Downs and the Dead Marshes, I imagine? Thanks for the info, and the quick response; Tolkien's portrayal of undeath and necromancy has always been one of my favourites, and I'm happy to hear y'all are giving it some attention. Hope you had a good new year's eve.

Hiya,

Do you have any plans to add a lesser wraith faction or unit type to this mod? There's not a lot of information about them in the books as far as I remember--mostly when they appear it's as an environmental threat (barrow wights, who in addition to nearly killing Frodo and company on their way to Bree are mentioned to be traveling East to serve Sauron), or as an off-hand reference (the Lord of the Nazgul is said to have many of them serving him, but they never actually show up in the text as far as I know), so I'd understand why you wouldn't want to spend more time on them, but I've always sort of been curious about what they'd look like in a game like this. Thanks for reading; sorry.

Two issues (don't have the time or patience to get an account on the forums to post these (not blaming anyone for the difficulty there I'm just an ***), esp. since there might already be a solution to the one that I actually care about that I've simply been unable to find, despite hours of Googling and crying):

Occasionally in scenes (most notably large fields such as the battlefield outside of Minas Tirith, or some particularly complicated structures such as Moria), the screen will freeze and flicker like crazy when I look in certain directions (solvable by looking away, but that's pretty bandaid-style since the moment I look back the screen freezes up again; as you can imagine that makes fighting battles pretty difficult, though not impossible). The more I look around, the more I start to feel like I'm missing something. I have updated to the latest Nightly Warband Patch, and installed TLD according to the Warband-compatible instructions in the manual.

Second issue (IE the one I don't really care about because if necessary I can just ignore it): oaths are totally impossible unless you're on the defensive, which almost never happens for Evil factions. I took an oath to revenge a dead Moria orc on Erebor, killed the King's party twice, razed several caravans, knocked out several Dwarven lords' parties, and still got labelled an Oathbreaker. This, despite the fact that all the Dwarven parties in question had hundreds of soldiers in them. I'm getting the sense that your dedication to your oath is based on the number of stacks you kill, as opposed to their actual power; if that's the case, then again, not much point in doing them for anyone who isn't on the defensive; you'd need to waste loads of Scouts and Caravans to manage that, and those don't spawn very much if the faction you're trying to get revenge on is low on strength. Would be better if oaths were judged based on the total strength of the parties you take down, if that's possible, though unfortunately I have no idea what sort of code TLD runs on or how it works.

No. There's a 2.55. Check the wikia.

This is a bit of a silly question, but I've always sort of wanted to see the different Lords and Kings get their own dialogue trees, rather than using stock lines. Is that a Thing That Could Happen?

This was created by at least one of same individuals as Floris was, but I'm not certain if Silverstag contains all of Floris' features. Silverstag /does/ have different stuff, though.

In campaign, the game starts like Native. After a few minutes, regardless of what I do, the game crashes due to not being able to load the correct skeleton.
