Mod is really promising and looks wonderful!
Only issue is if you are using the current version of SoC, it will ask you to DOWNGRADE to 1.0004 in order to play properly.

I really like the mod so far, it's visual graphics are stunning and the difficulty is... hard. But I have a complaint, last night as I was installing, the 1.05b RAR file said it had been corrupted, and later on as I was playing, every time I killed a person or stabbed them, the game would crash. Any help to remedy this would be useful, other than that, the mod is WONDERFUL and keep up the awesome work!

Men of War: Assault Squad is a great add-on to the Men of War/Faces of War series. The multiplayer is greatly improved, as well as the addition of other things that contribute to it. One of the things that really irked me in the original Men of War was how the weapon ranges just blatantly sucked.
You had to be point-blank range with a 155mm Howitzer to actually hit your target and anything that should have been in the gun's normal range, wasn't accessible. Assault Squad totally improved on it.
Another thing about this is just the throw-in of skirmish mode. It's just for fun and to see how well you can do against a horde of AI-controlled troops. But alas, there were only a handful (4-6) of missions for each skirmish campaign, which drew away from the campaign feel of the game.
The graphics are dramatically improved, and might I add, the models as well. The helmets now have chinstraps, the rifles have realistic finishes, and that one crowbar looks like a crowbar instead of a badly designed toothpick.
OVERALL GRADE: 8/10 ✓✓✓
