One of the best Stalker freeplay experiences out there to date. However, the numerous "junk" items, overly complicated repair/crafting system, and the impressive but borderline aimbot AI make this game intimidating to newbies like me but the highly customizable difficulty sliders negate this issue for me.

I started out playing on easy mode and adjusted settings to be on my favor but ended up preferring the hardest and harshest difficulty settings of the game. There's a lot of satisfaction on barely surviving an encounter with limited ammo, supplies, and barely functioning guns.

On the plus side, this standalone mod comes with numerous user addons that keep the experience fresh with submods providing new features and content or revising old ones, allowing you to modify the mod even further (modception) and warp it into your own personal version of Anomaly.

9/10. Can't wait to see what's in store for future content updates

The ridiculously bullet-spongey enemies ruin this mod for me, sadly
