Is there any timeframe for 2.7 release? I hear from several places it's planned for the end of the month, but as that is fast approaching will that be the case, or is it still unknown? Saw XPGamer's play through, and it got me to buy EaW, but 2.6 is quite disappointing compared to what 2.7 looked like.

Ah, thanks! I'll have to remember that for the future. That X-wing has since been lost to a Tie invasion on the Rebelion Home sectors.. Not sure quite how they all managed to jump into the Sector, seeing as they weren't even using the gates to get in, just Spawning in the sector and bypassing all the MC80s floating about..

You really need to add a factory that makes and sells the R2 Units. I lost the one that came with my X-wing on the Argon peacekeeper start due to it getting taken and sold when I sold the sensor equipped X-Wing you get from the missions, and since the S-foils were in cruise at the time, my X-Wing could no longer reopen them, thus could never fire a shot. Made a good loot vacuum, though, since it got 455m/s in cruise. Until 6 full wings of TIEs jumped into sector 148 and shot it down in the heart of the sector, by the equipment dock it was idling at..

I personally want to see ship-to-ship Fusing as well, rather than the simple smash and bounce style in the video. That'll give rescue engineers something to do, as you then have to find and detach the ships from the station/ship it is fused to.

REALLY can't wait for the first DL. Game looks absolutely AMAZING!!

Great looking game. I'm seriously planning on applying to this collage soon, and I read about the game in the tech magazine they sent out. I'm not planning on going into the Game Development field, but it's really great to see what the collage can put out.

This game is really good. I love the openness of it all.
