I would suggest that this mod be downloaded!
That said, I agree with all the said comments concerning areas of improvement.
The premise of this mod is fantastic and I have to hand it to anyone willing to take the time to turn their ideas into mods like this! I would liked to have had a shotgun earlier on, though. HA!

Sure looks good! But unfortunately the footage in that supposedly leaked Half-Life 3 trailer is from the opening sequence of the horror film '30 Days of Night'. The figure in the foreground seen coming ashore is a character portrayed by the great Ben Foster. I long for a new Half-Life as well, my friend!!
I voted! I remember when Blue Shift was released. I'm actually looking at the huge box it came in as I type! Remember those things? Opposing Force was a tough act to follow so the critisizm of Blue Shift was understandable at the time. But in retrospect, Blue Shift in a fun game that introduced some new game-play features and is a worthy addition to the Half-Life world.
The beauty here is how much passion we share for the greatest game of all-time. That being said, the fact that a team of devs would step up to the plate to try and recreate or modernize such a masterpiece in the first place is quite impressive.
You got my vote! To me Opposing Force is as much the masterpiece Half-Life 1 is.
