Im curious of how planet bombardment will work.

I know you guys are using "invasions" for the UNSC, this makes sense albeit its less pretty.

And i PRAY glassing is what the covenant do (i will be depressed if they "invade" to) But what about balancing? Glassing makes planets hard to inhabit, it wouldnt make sense for the covies to just land and populate the planet.

If i remember correctly the TEC's planet hitters (if upgraded) had a side effect that planets were uninhabitable for a certain amount of time, could this work for the covenant as well? Make glassed planets un-colonizable for a certain time?

Total awesome, im into a 3 hour game, republic and rebel vs federation and empire, its just awesome, breath taking battles and awesome aesthetics plus good sounds for an awesome star wars feel, awesome job guys :DDDDDDD

I dont see how I came off as not appreciating it. Hell i'd pay money for this mod if they asked and since they don't i call them awesome. However just because they are being awesome doesn't mean i cant critique the development time

Ehh, I got to admit im skeptical about this, I personally hate it even in vanilla when these sorta things show up, kinda kills the immersion for me, plus it will be a mess when large numbers of ships are fighting but its your mod so do what you will

I think my biggest worry about this mod is balancing. The books (and games to an extent) made it clear that if the UNSC won ship battles it was due to them having a brilliant leader at the time (Cole and Keyes are good examples) So im curious how this will transfer over to the mod, because I don't think Sins of a solar empire can support some of the tactical ideas from the actual lore (Using a space station as a shield for the firing ships, using gravity to whip shot you toward a fleet, exploding a gas giant, etc)

Alright, I get that this is only in beta and that it needs to be finished and such but what i also don't see is why you don't make the beta public to everyone instead of making it some sort of reward.

Hmm, well in 7 deadly sins the TEC cannon damages the planet heavily AND kills most smaller ships in orbit (only capitals survive) Could a similar idea be used here?

Yeah but that super weapon would be more like a uber capital ship. And as for Cole Protocol, im not sure as im a meh moder but might it be possible to at least slow scouts down? Im not sure but Cole Protocol should BE there in some form, im not sure what. And would the novas have realistic abilities? Would they fry both the planet AND the things in orbit?

Im wondering about a few things, 1: Super weapons, in Vanilla sins each faction had a super weapon, the TEC had that big *** canon, the advent had that uber television array etc, will that be in this mod? Perhaps giving the UNSC Novas? Just curious. Also, the Cole Protocol was a huge factor in the human-covenant war, will that be displayed in this mod? Perhaps a research project that makes it harder for covenant players to find your planets or something like that? Any responses would be awesome

Since Reach has come out are you planning on integrating any of the things it brought in? The showing of how oribital stations look, sabre fighters and a new look a corvettes? (Plus the updated Pillar of Autumn)

I love this mod, but its kinda annoying how whenever i try to load a previously saved game it decides to mini dump, so basically in order to play a good game i have to not leave it, which is really anti-sins, sorry but im very meh with this mod because of that
