I think R3PTOR could be seeing a fountain/birdbath with the fx added at the top.

Birth fx could be growing from nothing into the size you want it to be.
active fx could be the model standard size with either:
Purple/blue swirl fx based off of the marker root and raised.
Red swirl like seen in chaos superstructures and raised off of marker root. :P
Giving the effect of a swirling pool of something or other. :P
Could be a plague pool?
Could be what ever your imagination comes up with. :)
Okay this is going to be difficult to explain but bare with me.
You know how Daemons cannot move out of their base without losing morale and then health? Well what if this structure (along with the warp effects I was on about) could be built as a way of extending the protective radius of the base... so like a turret you can build anywhere and within a certain range daemons don't lose morale. Am I making sense? An "area of control" push building.
Perhaps even give them the role of the warp signature too because that thing sucks :P
Daemons Listening Post. And replace that darker patch in the middle on top with a warp-like fx.
How is this a listening post? It is a piece of stone, pedestals which will be quite handy, actually.
