I am a retard and it took me 20 years to figure this out!...
Looking through the POV, I found an interesting factoid.
There is only one texture assignment for the pov to the location of the texture.
If the Beast textures have the same texture UVs as the units and other races.
It would be possible to rename the texture assignment.
DDS would be all that would need to be created and named so they can be assigned.
Remembering character replacement in hex must be precise otherwise file length gets corrupted and it all goes to poot.
DDS needs to be both Regular and _glow.
but only te regular name gets applied to the hex work.
Saving a lot of work since the Beast are just re-textures.
