If they are made to a similar scale it would certainly be an interesting way to drop vehicles but I wonder if the 2 engines have enough lift power to carry around a super heavy tank (especially during take off and drops which would require lots of stability and lift power). A similar ship with 4 propulsors in an X shape and a bit more reinforced in the junctions would likely do the trick if this couldn't. Obviously 4 engines are harder to control than 2 and so it could be hard for the pilot if balancing tasks between engines were not performed automatically.
forget realism when 40k is involved. brick-shape flying saucers are a standard in the imperium, this one is no exception and, even if not originating from the 40k universe, fits perfectly well in the Adeptus Mechanicus credo :
"If the Machine Spirit want it an Anvil Can Fly"
wait until someone produce a similar concept to drop titan on the battlefield.
actually i like this model, some other view would be interesting to see.

Yeah I was thinking suspensors, from the space crusade media. It is about the assault cannons on power armoured marines. :)

I have left the link for the model details in the Description... so that all perspectives could be sought out through a search engine. :)

Wasnt titan dropping already done by orks and tyranids?
Orks using Rocks.
Tyranid using Spores.
