I am a retard and it took me 20 years to figure this out!...
The area of interest in the setup still sees to be the neck bone.
I cannot call it head as that would throw out the upper torso section I cannot call it spine2 as that would de-sync the head. :P
I could be mistaken and it would just be a matter of time before I found out. :P
I may have to call it head and bite the bullet so it is in alignment with the head. :)
Also I hear what you are saying about the banners, But 803F or texture work can make the banners invisible or shorter. :)
They may still serve a purpose yet. :)
I am tempted to clone the head to give a lot more skinned objects to use with body syncs and different types of models.
Just throwing thoughts out there while they are fresh...
The more torture devices around the better or for what matters psychic enhancement devices also :P
