Sorry, didn't realize I wasn't logged in.

Are you planning on releasing any other maps? no mod changes to the game. I've tried out those mods and honestly my friend and me do not like them at all. Would rather have good very large maps to play. And is there tools to modify these maps? how are you doing it?

Umm, yeah. same issue here too. no starting points. nothing working and I have gone back and rechecked all of the files and its not working. plus the maps are coming up with plad looking map back grounds. is that right?

Hi, ok. that area is a puzzle, you only have to place an item on the one outside plate. and then step on the plate on the far side to open the door. You have to put an item on 23A or 23C and stand on the one of the plates. Then the wall will open up. as for the Crystal Key, I believe that key is sitting o the ground in that same room.

Stand on a plate and right click the itme and drop it where you stand on the plate you are standing on.

BTW, the mod is now apart of the new Enhanced Edition. But beware, you would need to start a new game. you cant just start using the new mods. its how the original game works, not our doing.

Hello xcallen, I'm really sorry I didn't see this sooner. Are you still having issues?

I dont use this site to often anymore since the mod is now apart of Steams version of the game the Enhanced Edition. If you own that version of the game on steam, you might want to try that newer version we have there, its has many updates and fixes.

Okay, I'm going to be completely honest with you about the fighter movement on capitalships and the other ships you guys applied this too. Its lame, does it look cool? yes, but when something like this is causing major problems with ships chasing other ships outside the gravity wells, you have to take a step back and look at the overall problem and ask yourself, maybe this is not such a great thing to do to the ships especially when it’s not compatible with the AI and movement speeds of those ships. Now, if the AI was programed to not go outside of the gravity wells, then cool. But it’s not.

And the other issues this causes is with the ships scattering all over the place and going outside of the healing ships and buffing ranges. This I have seen many times getting ships killed off. It as you already know causes way more problem's then it’s not worth having. When you already know the issues that's causing those ships to fly off out of the gravity wells, then it should be removed. Sometimes Compatibility outweighs the cosmetic look of something.

Personally, I have modded this out of the game and for me and my friends that play your mod, its plays way better. I must have missed a few ships since the AI is still chasing the smaller ship outside of the gravity wells. Something I’ll have to look at and see what other ships might have the fighter ability.

I know you all are probably not going to remove this, and will be stubborn about it. But this fighter attack ability does not belong on Capships nor should it. You guys should sit down and rethink this and weight the issues it causes versus compatibility and game play so that players can play the mod without worrying about where a fleet just disappeared off into a gravity well deep into space. The players should not have to baby sit their fleets like this.

Anyway, my thoughts on this.

Is there a reason why? I'm wondering what is going on with the builder that it does that. because this bug does not exist in the regular game. it has to be something you all changed in the mod that's causing the AI to do this.

Curious if you guys have fixed the issues with the Enemies AI builder ship wondering out of the gravity wells which causes the players Fleet AI to go chasing after them endlessly out of the gravity well. Has this been fixed? becasue this is a royal pain in the *** when it happens.

Umm, no! The size of the station is completely off and needs to be fixed. The only reason its so small, is because they ripped it off from another game and didn't bother to fix the sizing. probably becasue it cant be without making it look bad.

Just to give you some perspective on the size difference, here is Earth Space Doc compared to DS9.

Earth Space Dock:
Diameter : 3,810 m
Height (main) : 4,648 m
Height (overall) : 5,795 m1
Decks : 1200

DS9:
Diameter : 1,451.82 m4
Height (core) : 368.8 m4
Height (overall) : 969.26 m5

Is there any fix yet for the Borg Constructors that sometime fly off out of the Gravity wells? Then you ships act stupid and want to go chasing them far off into the void. Its such a pain having to deal with that. any way to fix this???

Oh yes, I have seen this happen to, and it always seems like its in the last half of the game when it does. I'm a very experienced modder for this game and have my own mods. But this is the only mod that I have had this happen to me. Very weird and confusing to whats causing it.

I dont know what you have wrong, but the lighting in this mod is all screwed up. everything is dark and the units are not light up they are either blue or red in color like the team color and look dark, very hard to see. even the Star destroyer look badly lit. If that on purpose, then its so wrong. You guys need to put it reevaluate that and put it back to the normal look of the game.

And yes its your mod, I just removed the mod and checked the game after wards and the game look just fine without the mod.

So, Someone has gone to the liberty of uploading my mod on Steam without my permission, which would not have been given. I have for sometime now been thinking of adding mt mods to the game workshop. I have posted a DMAC take down to get the mod removed. I will upload it when the right time comes. right now is not. There other reason that I can not discuss right now. but that news will be announced when I know more.

I know this might sound pety or harsh, but this is my hard work, no one has the right to post someone elses hard work.

OK, thats good. I fixed this and will be releasing a new version of the mod wit ha few other small fixes. But if you cant get all three pieces of the talon. then use the spawn command to get them.

Hit the Tild key ~ to open the console window.

type this command DebugMode 1 and hit enter

now type dm_spawnitem tongueoftalon and hit enter

A bag that is the hilt will spawn at your feet.

Do any of these mods fix the AI lagging out the game? I know there were a mod or two in the past that fixes this issue wit the AI listing that does not clear itself out and causes the lag.

Okay, its come to my attention that a grey key is missing from a pile of bones at the start of the Catacombs level 3. Not sure what happend or how this key became missing from that pile of bones but its been fixed and a patched 1.4 version will be coming out very soon. I'm going though the game now and retesting it to make sure nothing else mysteriously disappeared.

if you ran into this area, there is an easy fix for now. You can spawn items in the game use this command to do it

Hit the Tild key ~ to open the console window.

A bag that is the key will spawn at your feet.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone. I wish this would have been brought to my attention sooner.

Thank you all for playing the mod and giving your feedback and reviews. Its appreciated.

I wanted to comment about a review I read by bob, he mentioned that he felt that we underutilized the resting restrictions in the first part.

I'm a bit confused by his comment because we do in fact have that in the game. Once you enter level 3 of the catacombs, you are sealed in, you are not able to rest until you complete the final two levels here and find the quest items that will allow you to escape.

I would really like to hear back from anyone who has gotten this far into the game and here your comments on this.

Hi, yes, thats pretty much how it ends, we had some issues with man power at the very end of the project. the guy who did all of the cut scene scripting left and I had no one who could help us with creating a proper ending. Sorry about this. I have thought about going back and fixing this. I might still do that. Glad you enjoyed the mod.
