So this may have been asked before, but how well would this play with something like ultimate apocalypse? The upgrades it gives to all the races are great and is love to roll them into this if I installed.

So what did I miss in the stream? Can someone sum up what was shown? Release date given?

The 100$ now: Was a campaign option shown off?

Wait was it the Fan Made Addons v2? That sounds sort of similar but not completely. If it was, is it so far out of date as to break things? I don't need all the extra stuff from it just the army schemes.

So not sure if anyone can help, but I used to have some add-on or port from another mod that added a TON of predone paint jobs for every faction. It ranged from like every damn IG regiment, to over a dozen additional SM chapters (Including fan made ones like Angry Marines), to even minor branches of the nids. This included some custom banners and the like to go with them too. For the life of I can't remember where I got it or what it was called. I lost it when I deleted by whole game folder and reupdated it to be able to play online.

Anyone have an idea of what that was? Swore it used to be like an add-on for this very mod.

Hate to be that guy, but is this mod dead? I really don't want to dig through 30 pages of comments finding a dev talking about what they plan to do. I don't see any of the 'daggerfall' DLC or the proposed 1.4 patch.

Might I suggest throwing a Not Yet Implimented tag next to all the non IG Legio Tianicus stuff that is mentioned on research and units? I saw that the Necro vortex thingy was not ready but when I read the Apoc tier research and it mentioned a necron LT unit I was so excited and then was promptly disapointed when I realized it was nowhere to be found. Have not touched the other factions yet to know if they have something similar but would be nice to know.

Does that include the unique banners and the like? Because playing the Angry Marines without the frownie face is just not the same.

So how hard would it be to port the color schemes from FoK to UA? Either by hand myself or as an addon. I am honestly pretty bad at color design so having those oodles of predone schemes from a ton of different branches of the factions was really cool.

Text changelog please? Don't want to have to sit through a 12 minute video for something I can glance over in 50 seconds.

So was this supposed to include shifter/biomod at all? I remember something about that on the CC page but I sadly can not check right now because it is useless. Lacking that, anyone know if I should be able to drag/drop the shifter/biomod files into Revision? Also also I got no music on the main menu. How strange.

Edit: Nevermind all that. The website updated and I figured things out. I think.

For what purpose? So far the most common speculation as to why the work with squenix is likely a steam tie in. Big whoop. Why tie your creation up in corporate BS? As you have seen from this page, it does not curry favor with your potential fans that's for sure.

Honestly, unless the tie in is a sex robot and chocolate, I'm inclined to say whatever the surprise is will not have been worth the extra wait.

It's been 'soon' for awhile now. With various levels of "We're waiting on anyone except us because we made a poor choice."

So take of that what you will. This is the "Soonest" it's ever been so who knows! Might even be this decade!

Why support preorders? Ignoring the fact that many people get games digital, when was the last time you saw a store run out of physical copies of a game on launch day? What does preordering do for you as a customer? Often times all it offers is either some cheap plastic tat to go with the game, some lazy artbook where they just put promo pictures and concept art together in a flimsy binding or useless/broken in game content. Woohoo.

The only time it might be considered sane is if like on steam they are having a prerelease sale. I got Dying Light+Season pass for cheaper then the actual game by itself just before it's release.

"Working against a big corporation" So are they actively making things difficult for you? Or are they just stalling you out since the ball is in their court?

Question: At this point, would there be any legal ramifications if you just said forget whatever things you had planned with SE and just released the mod by itself?

So glad you guys have time to update us about the lately unused page that one could post updates about. Good job coming here and making sure to squash any potential hype that small glitch could have caused. Not like we are all waiting for nearly a month since last update and "the timeline for making those things happen should be pretty fast" Great work trying to stick to your previous intent of trying to keep the next update a release one. What would one more false glimmer of hope brought upon by an appealing white lie right? Not like many of us expect anything out of you anymore.

Will you be holding a service for the death of Revision at the Hands of Square Enix? Oh wait no sorry. Has not been proven if square murdered it yet. Maybe we should just file a missing persons report.

Nah Squenix would not outright shut it down. That would cause a stir. If it's just in limbo forever they can shift the blame around.

"Oh yeah its tangled up in the legal department."
"Oh yeah legal has moved it over to the OTHER legal department."
"We are waiting on the ok from Legal Team A before moving forward with this."
"Well we are waiting on Caustic Creative to get us obscure bit of record X Y and Z before we can ok this."

At this point it almost does not matter if the game is really done or not. CC stuck its head in the lions mouth of squenix as part of their performance, and the lion has closed its jaws. Not shut them, killing the CC team. Oh no. That would be too easy. Too clean. Too definitive. Nope, it just has its teeth squarely around the neck of CC and is holding tight. And now awaits the slow lingering death of them since squenix can just ignore CC since they foolishly put themselves at the mercy of the lion.

Would make sense. Getting in contact with squenix. Advising people to get the steam version. Delaying the game to do some crap with squenix.

I too am really hoping this is not what we are waiting on. Deus Ex is already drag and drop modding. Sometimes copy+pasting a few lines into an ini. Super easy stuff.

Kotor II is not very hard either but it can be pretty tedious.

Excuse me if I don't believe you. Making progress is not something that has been evident to us waiting. Considering its been nearly a month since the last big update, and 13 days since the minor update.

"the timeline for making those things happen should be pretty fast," -Jul 9th

"Apologies for being a bit coy with our release date. We’re deep into the endgame here." May 27th

I won't plumb further back since I am pretty sure there already is someone who posts the older stuff. But the implied soon to be releases are there. Whats one more white lie to the pile right?

Look if things are not going to be happening soon. If you have no way of really knowing if its going to be soon. That's fine. Say that. We could understand. But like many people including myself have said before, It's the stringing us along part that has people frustrated.

If it's out of CC control and they are tired of us complaining to them. How about a name/email at Squenix we can contact. Let them know that we the fans are waiting on them.

So. Update at all? See there is time for the Devs to come and comment but its been 9 days since the last 'soon' and no word. "Partially out of our control" were the words used I believe. Meaning some of it is. Whats the word people?

Neat. So is that compatible with Nanomod? Can I just update Biomod and be fine or do I have to wait for NM to catch up?

I wish we knew what exactly was going on to know if they COULD force a longer delay.

Hey Devs! I know you can't tell us whats happening, but have you guys screwed yourself in too tight with Squenix? If you wanted could you just say screw it and release if you wanted? Or are have you essentially become their latest slave and not even getting paid for it?

I am guessing once the game comes out and they finally are able to talk about what exactly got changed and why 2+ months (at the very least so far) have been added on to the project and what may have been cut we are in for some good ol fashioned out rage.

Or maybe not.

But how often does a big company meddling with a large mod team turn out well? Aside from Valve scooping up the Narbacular Portal team for Portal, or the TF guys for TF2.

I hope there are people in team as frustrated with this as we are. Wonder if any of them are going to 'accidentally; leak the build anonymously somewhere.

So just to be clear here.

We are waiting for Square Enix at this point?

Alright you heard the man folks! Time to go flood Squenix with our bitching!

To be serious though, once whatever you are dealing with is over, will we be able to know what exactly was taking so long from their end? I'm not a lawyer so I can not claim to know copy right issues front to back, but so few others mods require any sort of legal consultations no matter what they put in. I'm curious what you could possibly have in here that might raise issues.

... Aside from maybe you somehow got JC's voice actor back to record some fresh lines for some of your content. Then I could maybe see an issue.

To the devs

Can we please get in plain unambiguous english what must be done before this can be released? Like actual details.

"We are waiting for a reply back from X about issue Y. We sent this on Z date and should hopefully get a reply within the next few days"

"We have discovered a potentially game breaking bug in the form of X and want to address it before release."

"We just discovered we exist in an alternate timestream to the rest of you good folks, so the 2 month launch delay to you has only been a couple of days to us. We apologize for that."

Something like that please.

Don't think we are not excited. (Though personally I could not keep the hype up after a month.) Don't think we are not grateful, because we are. The people in here that seem sour is because it feels like there is very little concrete communication between you and us. The vague uncertain things you imply need to be done, and the "Soons" you give for a release schedule tend to frustrate simply because it has been looming on the horizon for so long, but never actually getting any closer. Like something out of a nightmare.

So the 26'th has come and gone with no release. Oh well. I can only hope this 'soon' release is a lot closer to the definition of soon then their previous implied soon to be release dates.
