Okay, I'll do that. But what I found confusing about the update notes, is this --> Saber Fakes - pressing the block button before an attack starts will make your player do a fake.....". I interpreted that when you're releasing the attack button before its finished is the "fake" swing, correct me if I'm wrong. I will give the sabersystem time, ofcourse! Hey, This mod has archieved some new features, but some features aren't working as they should. Many Admin commands are restricted and I can't find a single command to change that (looked at the cvarlist as carefully as possible), Emotes are restricted, empower is restricted, terminator etc etc. The "Fake Swing" that's supposed to make a fake swing by pressing attack and then block doesn't work either. Instead if you don't hold the attack button long enough, it'll fake. My friend thought it as a much annoying thing and would prefer to do it as it atleast said in the update note. That's just some stuffs for you to look into. I can say that I like the potential of this mod. Keep it up! I'll be doing further testings with my friend and we might give a small feedback about the combat system. Good work still!

Guys Never mind! I've found the problem. It seems that the mod isn't compatible with widescreen, starting the game at 1024 x 768 using the community tab will fix the problem. A shortcut won't work though but I don't care anymore. As long as this mod works, I'll be happy. I'm just hoping that this mod in the future will have a widescreen feature. Thanks for all the help.

@Sergiovi Install the game, patch the game to 1.40, install Northern Strike if you have it, patch the game again using 1.50 this time.

*Sigh* I was afraid of that. Oh well. I'll re-install the game then. I'll be back and tell if it works

I remember when I played BF2142 2-3 years ago I used to play this mod, now after all these years I've gotten myself a new computer and wanted BF2142 another go again. Now this mod doesn't work anymore. Everytime I'm pressing singleplayer or multiplayer, the game crashes. This is on a Windows 7 64bit machine. Strategyinformer said that I should install v1.5, then 1.6, 1.7 and then 1.71 64 bit patch. Couldn't choose map on neither of those versions. Original BF works like a charm though. Any Suggestions? Note: Graphic card can't be the problem unless I need to go back to older drivers which I don't believe will solve this case at all since the original BF2142 is able to use these graphic drivers without a single problem.

I hope u got permissions of all stuffs you have taken from other mods mate..I mean example : player models... but I can tell you, this looks great! keep up the good work!

I can a bit in modding ...but almost nothing on JKA :( ..I can mod games like Fable...Kotor ...but no..not JKA -.-...even when i got JKO map editor and some stuffs...But of course you need to know what you are doing :P

I have a idea ( if it works ) ...you said about to choose your friends or dark ...what about if you could do so many times in game..not just once...like if you changed your mind on something..some things can like example be dark decisions and others will be light choices. like if you are walking into dark..or is fallen...you can be redeemed.. :P ..but I think that will take extra time to fix i think....but its just an idea. // Patrik1011

hehe joining all together would be nice, but let us see how it will be first when everyone is in small group right now..maybe later they can try to be with all. that would be fast modding I think but we shall see what they want don't we ? :)

i did saw a mod with cutscenes not so long ago...i think it was..chroincles..lol..maybe you should ask them how to make cutscenes :P

i have the leviathan bridge map..revans flagship map...dantooine..hmm..oh and btw anthony1138 you can ask me for ideas if you want...it feels like i got hundreds of ideas but some of them will take ages to do or even impossible..

hope its going forward still with the mod..but the problem is if we can manage to get the source code in a legal way..that would be great because then we could add that we can like pressing on a dialouge to say that like in the original kotor..dark side dialogues..light side dialouges etc etc etc :P

If you ask me...there is ALREADY those maps finished..there is a mod called knigths of the force that has everysingle map from ep 1 to 6..almost..there you can takes som maps from the pk3 if you are allowed to do so..like vaders chamber was already a finished map...and the anakin,obi-wan and much more models was already finished.but still i can't wait for 2.0 :P

lol i forgot too ...is could it be a way to make the "party members" get allignment or like when you doing something like talking or saving people you can do dark side and light side acts..like dark side..you can kill him and get ds points..and light side you like refuse to get a reward he wanted to give you :D...something like that..or like when you facing people you can chose to spare them or not..like Yuthura Ban ...well everyone you can spare or not in the game :P...good luck to finishing the game...i hope i get some answer too :P...

i mean same kotor music...and before they DID bomb dantooine...but the only thing that missing is the outside of dantooine :(..it could be a way to copy the texture from kotor?..that would be hard i think otherwise..

and also one thing..dont forget to make the force powers and the rifles..and sabers :D...if you got problems with how to make force powers i think you shall ask ja+ creator slider..or the mod that took over 5 years to make... www.kotf.com .. you could ask him..he is called tim..he is using many programs like C++, HTML, ASP, Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Premiere Adobe After Effects,Flash and other 3D software and video editing programs ... and if we need the source code to add new powers..that would be gone..because they never release the source code :(..

i hope as i said before you add so much we can do..specialy dxun during mandalorian wars..and after it..when the exile was there...ah and btw there are a finished dantooine map already before they did bomb dantooine..but of course its on multiplayer..but you can change it to sp i think...its fit the game..same kotor musik..everything i can send the site ..it would be a miss if you don't take it = Jediknight3.gamefront.com
