that's not what he's talking about. it's the right screenshot which is too sharp! look at it! it's burning my eyes. the right thing is the "enhanced" thing, it has almost nothing to do with the graphics of the year 2000 game.

P.S. In return, I could make some screenshots of the characters and environments, as there are not much screenshots of Madly Enhanced :D

Dear VGames (I thought, let's do a formal letter to get a quicker reply),
I really like American McGee's Alice, and high quality visuals are what I like most, but I don't want everything to be sharpened, just high quality.
I've seen a youtube video with the sharpened stuff, and it hurts my eyes. I like soft visuals. Thereby, I find the amount of magic used for the weapons reasonable, except the cards (when you first get them, they are a good range weapon, but they take so much hits to kill something) and the Jabberwock's Eye Staff (it is powerful enough to destroy a wall, but to kill a strong enemy, you need to shoot your whole magic bar empty).
Also, the cinematics in my copy are already in full screen.
Could you make a custom version for me? With the high quality textures, not the sharpened? Or maybe for everyone else some sort of customizer.

The shockroach is a little bit too sharply blue in my opinion. With the dark feel of op4, its blueness would probably hurt my eyes because of the large difference between model and game

I do not understand you. Could you be more specific? Change the gamedll to what?

I got a pirated (argh!) version of half life, but when I start the mod with it, it says something about having no steam connection... Why is this neccesary? All the other mods do work without steam... What do I do?

Sir, you are wrong. HL1 is the one with the OhMyFricking much bugs. The AI is dumb, almost nothing is readable, and you will get killed most of the time by the evil elevator. In HLS, if you pull a box, it doesn't get flinged away. Plus, HLS has - although still less quality than HL2 - ragdolls. If you take away the addons and HD pack, HLS is better.

I've tested it on the other pc, tapio. It worked, because of the better graphics card, but yeah... you need a really good pc for this. It was lagging soooo hard. I couldn't even just start a new game, because I couldn't get my mouse on the right spot.
