Anyone got any useful tips for countering the Tau with this mod? Fire Warriors seem to eat my very-very-slow Tacs alive before they can even fire back, and Assault Marines got shot out of the air.

Wow. Then I really don't understand. Does this mod increase the damage done globally? I know it does more than just adding a faction, the AI acts completely different between this mod and vanilla SS. :/ I keep trying new strats, but I just keep getting absolutely slaughtered by the AI with orks no less. Anyway, thanks for looking into that.

I really appreciate it. Cause ya, I've lost 2 whole squads in the span of like 3 seconds to a single squad of Chaos Marines with Heavy Bolters. I know HB can murder you, but DAMN. I'm terrified to see what Tau would do <:(

I don't suppose this has been made compatible with any of the equally awesome Space marine chapter mods out there? I'm a huge Salamander fan and frankly putting make-up on the Bland Marines just does not cut it.

Hey, I gotta ask something about the Salamander mod. Can, uhh, can anyone actually confirm that Sal Tacs are indeed Heavy Infantry? I know they have more hp than normal tacs, but they really seem to lose it much faster. Example, had a squad of Sluggerboyz range attack at me (kinda weird, but I'm new to SS so idk if that AI behavior is normal) in two separate games. One was Normy marines, other was Sals. The Bland Marines did what you'd expect and kinda just laughed at the dmg for like a good 6 seconds, one model went to yellow health. So, yeah, not a threat really. The Sals actually lost two models in the span of what I counted to be like 8 seconds. Not exactly a valid test, I know, but I swear to God-Emperor they die like 10x faster than Blood Ravens. Each shot they take cuts out a huge chunk of hp. Entire squads drop left and right where normal marines would just lose a few members, making them mostly unplayable due to the cost and squad cap of Marines, with the survival rate of Guardsmen. So, does anyone know for sure if they count as Heavy Inf? The info tab doesn't say. Is there a file I can look at in the mod to check for sure? Please help, Salamanders are my favorite chapter and this mod looks so good.
