First of all, I have to say that this MOD has the right atmosphere.
It's really scary, in a because you feel that anything can happen at any time, any place.

The prologue is well made too. The haunted mansion is already fun, but the real campaign is even a lot better. This will stay on my computer for sure. I will try to beat hard level someday. Thanks for this great mod!

One of my favourite retail games.. I really like the whole communication system and the maps are so good! There's also a ranking system which forces you to try out every kit, which is a big +. Also, thanks EA for releasing the booster packs + special forces for free, beacause those server were slowly dying. I don't think this game needs a big review, as almost everyone of you must have heard of this..

2 things that I don't like that much:
Hitboxes: If you're sniping while sitting behind a teammate there's a BIG chance you'll hit him, even though the crosshair isn't pointed at his body..
Punkbuster: It almost makes overlay (Steam/VOIP-software) impossible to use as it kicks you when it's detected.. A real shame.

It runs well on nearly all recent systems and I'd recommend you to buy it.

First of all I want to say that this is my favourite half-life 2 MOD. It has a great atmosphere, and it all looks so real!
The maps are somewhat small, but this doesn't mean there's no tactics involved! It's nearly impossible to solo up a squad of hostiles as one well aimed bullet can suffice to end up dead!
It makes me sad that this mod didn't get updated for a while.. Is it really dead as most ppl say on the forums..?
Well, I heard the (original?) team is working on a remake from 1.0c source as they can't get their hands on the newer source code.
I'm looking forward to see this updated, and I'm tracking both this one and the Insurgency: Redeployment ('Classic') mod!

This game is AWESOME. Superb graphics (even after 6(?) years.. The fact that it's able to run on nearly every computer and it's a heavily editable to make all kind of mods make this game a real KILLER!
This game contains great single-player campaign with a great variety of guns and monsters. GREAT atmosphere.. : 'Very creepy' environments (Ravenholm), 'Dead, sci-fi' places, oh, I like that.
Also contains a multi-player, it's fun, but I prefer playing the single-player. I like the multiplayer, but it's like a rush for the legendary COLT or BAZOOKA's which are imho overpowered. Ohh, I forgot to mention that you can use the gravity gun in multiplayer, which is so COOL!

Valve, thanks for this great game!

Good gameplay and it brings back the feeling of the old goldeneye. It's one of the mods that always survive my cleanups. But I think the difference between headshot and shots in the body is a little too big and I'd like to have seen people dying faster.

Great work, Team GoldenEye, maybe calling this a "MOD" is wrong as it's (nearly) as good as a retail game (but yeah, it's Source!).
