ive been trying to figure this out actually, but you can fix the pickup animation by changing the setting in FDDA for pickup distance to .3 or .5, but so far have not been able to fix the pickup sound on mag reload.

tried removing the pickup sound for magazines, and although it worked for making magazines moving in your inventory silent (not really the goal, but proved it worked) the sound still played, so it's some other interaction thats causing the sound

Is there a way to edit what sort of guns the NPCs ask for? I've trawled through the scripts and other related files and can't seem to find any list anywhere.

It doesn't mean anything as far as I can tell, pretty sure they're just the numbers for that specific malfunction, as denoted in the repair script. I'd ignore them unless you're trying to mess with the scripts and such.

I've been working on adding my own items and when I saw you adding backpacks to this mod I got excited since any new backpacks I add have this exact same bug, and so far no amount of trawling through the scripts has helped. If I manage to find some way to fix it before you I'll let you know, in any case good luck squashing this bug!

I downloaded the newest update but for some reason I keep getting this crash when I'm loading a new game.

Whenever I try to rescue a stalker held hostage they almost immediately leave their "surrender" pose and open fire on their captors. Even if I manage to save them from their ill-advised stunt and kill all the bandits, I can't get the stalker to follow me so I can complete the quest (the option to "rescue" doesn't even show up) and they remain a quest objective until they die, failing the quest. Does anyone know what might cause this or any fixes?

I'm not able to get a crash log at this time, but has anyone else had the issue where accepting a rescue mission from an ecologist results in an immediate crash? it's been replicable every time they offer the mission, with multiple NPC but only ecologists, rescue missions from other factions are accepted and function fine. I don't have a saved crash log at the moment but I should be able to get one as it happens consistently.

As far as I know there's no way to tell beforehand, but if you access a stash and hear a grenade pin being pulled, that's your warning to sprint away, usually gives you a second or two before exploding.

I can't seem to use the bed-spread, it makes the noise but doesn't go on the floor in any area I try to place it. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm still running into the 'beer_1' crash even after the latest patch, still the same trigger as before with talking to barman to advance the quest. Will a crash log help you in nailing this bug down?

Hi, I was hope you could fix this small bug/inconsistency I found in STCoM or at least help me out in fixing it because I'm sorta lost. Essentially, the "M4" rifle lacks a dedicated mesh for the ACOG scope and just uses base mesh. This keeps the rear sight suck in the base position, which blocks the ACOG. The other scopes (Eotech, AC10632) don't have this problem because they have their own .ogf files with the rear sight lowered.
I've been having difficulties figuring out how to make the models despite the fix being pretty simple in theory (take the .ogf with the rear sight down, remove the Eotech, add ACOG) but I haven't been able to figure it out. So far I can convert the .ogf to .obj but I haven't been able to do anything past that.

Hey, I wasn't sure where to put this but I'm having a problem with the M4 rifle where the back-up iron sight doesn't go down when the ACOG is attached like it does when the Eotech is. I tried fixing it myself but I can't figure it out, as far as I know it should be done through the weapon config files with the "item visual" field but I can't seem to get it to work.

Hey, I ran into a small bug that seems like it would have a simple fix. The M4 rifle has back-up iron sights that flip down when you attach a optic like the Eotech, but the iron sight does not flip down when you attach an acog. Its somewhat of a unimportant thing but it would be nice if it was fixed alongside more important things next time you put out a patch. Thanks!

I got past it and the rest of the mod without a hitch. it seems it only happens when you go through the door (Duck under it) when it has not completed raising fully. I waited for the full time and it worked fine. sorry for the false alarm!

This mod was flawless, until I got to the part where you have to wait for a door to open while fighting off zombies. every time I try to go through the door, the game crashes. Anyone else get this problem/ know how to fix it?

I have a bit of a problem. Every time that I die and attempt to reload a save the game crashes. THe strange thing is this only happens AFTER I've died because when I start the game and load a save there is no problem. If anyone has any insight on this issue please tell me because it's a bit of a bother having to relaunch the game every time I die.
