This looks promising. I'm keeping an eye out for this one!
There is no Battlecry III.dll on my installments.
I'm afraid not. The original campaign isn't really supported by TPC, not yet anyway. The unsupported hero races are: undead, minotaur, orc, fey, daemon, ssrathi, swarm. The rest should work fine.
I believe the Item Stash would also be lost, but the items the hero was wearing (including backpack) are preserved.
Have a look at: The-protectors.forumstopic.com
Looks good but sadly I believe it's not animated :(
I actually consider him an Art Nouveau guy, but with strong personality.
Ah yes. He had this great idea of thinking the building's structure with chains pulled by gravity. The result would be an upside down version of the final building, an organic cave-like form. 100 years later, some people still have problems conceiving such architecture.
What is in your avatar picture? It looks like a cool building interior but I'm not sure.
Thank Cthulhu they're not anime. I really like these!
So are the Dwarves slow to trust Flayers or "outsiders" as in any other race?
Probably not. Supported resolutions are 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1680x1050 and 1920x1080.
Menus are ALWAYS 800x600, so the change of options is only triggered when entering battle.
You should always check the forums when having issues. Chances are the problem was already dealt with: The-protectors.forumstopic.com
The campaign is mostly there to provide an item stash (by popular demand) for your hero, which is why the intro parts are small. Still you can obtain quite a lot of different acts by replaying over and over and making other choice combinations.
BTW, if you play with heroes whose race can have babies (knights, dwarves, barbarians, elves, empire, plaguelord) you get the Dragon's Maze start. There you can reach the endscreen in 9 different ways - as opposed to The Wastes beginning (undead, minotaur, orc, fey, daemon, ssrathi, swarm) where there are only 3 (but more choices on how to win battles).
Well I was one day off of a winter release but still, my predictions weren't that terrible.
What do you mean? These units are available for skirmishes, multiplayer and campaign/chapters.
We have plans for a future spell sphere.
Death and destruction! But seriously, the info is provided in the image above and in more detail in game (version 0.8.4).
Certainly. All chapter heroes (along with their items, skills and whatnot) will be able to join as companions in the main campaign after doing a series of missions, if the player wishes so.
First install v0.8 full then apply patches consecutively (0.8.1, 0.8.2 and 0.8.3). Also make sure that the monitor supports 800x600 resolution.
Professionalism would benefit this project (which is what you want, right?). Doing it for free is not an excuse for showing lack of professionalism - this kind of thinking actually makes me sad. Nobody expects it, sure I can agree, but the less it's expected, the more the impact it will have. Just my two cents.
Man up, show some professionalism and finish the job or quit. No regrets, no excuses, no fear. It is what it is. Personally, I think finishing last is better than not participating in the race at all, but I can see this being a subjective advice.
If you double-click you can select more than the control panel allows (more of same kind). I will see what I can do in future versions, but I'd prefer a forum post on the "Suggestions" topic with this idea.
stronger than Feyspirit (that's a drink!)
Also, if you try to free Gorgon with a fey hero (0.8.3 and later), the fey will abandon you, and your hero will never be able to produce any units in future missions. It's you alone for all the maps, until you turn the fey back to allies or find another ally (which can only be done later in the campaign) :)
How did "they" bring such a huge painting into this room?
