1257AD but better, what else to say
To be honest, if not Call of Chernobyl, i wouldn't have any contact with Stalker several years now(maybe only check Lost Alpha DC when(/if XD) come out). I thought i played enough the whole series, also with some mods. I was wrong. I love just be in Zone, i love simply travel around. And damnit, in CoC is so much to travel. Lot of places, lot of things that you might come across. Each stroll is different.
Yes, mod has some flaws, certain things could be better, errors from time to time...
But seriously, it's still a Stalker, no matter what :D
Mod was intended to be mainly a modding resource(and does it well). The devs could just release the mod at 1.2, as the "resources", and stop doing anything else(Want something? Mod yourself). But they didn't. More than that, users began doing things as well. So even if something is wrong, some feature is lacking, another need polishing, sooner or later will be done. If you want it sooner, do it yourself. Use the opportunity of simplified scripts, tools, the support of devs and other users. Once a black magic for me, now even I started play and experimenting with some things. Many features present in addons, and much more, can be made on your own.
CoC has extended my Stalker adventure and keep it alive just like next full-fledged game would do.
