If you want Cavalry so much why don't you download Morghs and make Cav yourself. Its very simple.

Historically..... Weapon reach was a important part of fighting. So technically twohanders/polearms should be pretty dang good to an extent.

Basically swords where used like a modern day sidearm.

The only army to ever use swords as a primary weapon was Rome due to their fighting style.

Use Morghs if you don't like the look it really helps out.
