it's the perspective, the grunt is running forward too
they are huge in game :)
report it on the forums please
we will then act appropriately
and why exactly is it our fault - that other mods can't shine ?
i know it's hard, i've worked/am working wich mod myself,
but getting a good team together to crunch out good stuff needs patience
i would hold back on those media releases, they make you look weak and unprofessional
only release stuff you KNOW that it's worthy to be shown to the outside
try to assemble your best shot of art and pool that to a simple, nailed down info about your mod
then write to artists directly, post on quality forums like cgtalk
try to get people interested without spamming them
also remember - you mod must equalize crysis on a graphical scale, or top it
no one wants a mod with inferior graphics to the original game
try thinking about your mod once more and if crysis is really the right engine, or you could do it on another one?
also - with a game allready released you can start hammering away on a solid ground
stuff like getting into an engine, fining a coder who knows the engine, is willing to work with you and is good is the hardest task of all
too many mods come and go because of lack of a proper coder
wish you good luck with your project
the grenade heads are much too small
@Unholy_Hacksaw
would you explain your opinion in detail on our forums?
we are always keen on your critic, come on in and have a go at it :)
model is okay - but the texture looks frightening bad
to be honest - it does not look remotly like the stuff we are used to see from you guys :(
her real name is aneta, she's a model of 3d.sk (female anatomy for game artists)
here's her in full (in clothes)
i remember the left street was going a lot more further down then that...?
wait - a css model in hl2 ? - that's plain theft !!!
very low poly & low res skin for a dino this size on the crysis engine - you have to do way better then that...
all it needs is a seam at the and of his trousers and a fly :)
this beast needs some sweet-*** animations, when finished
eah those windows look really misplaced here
speachless...very professional
awesome job, capturing the hl spirit, but keeping fresh at the same time - wow
outlive
