Hi, I'm Nathan. I am a studying games developer since about December 2005. I have always had a passion for games, I have always played games, and have always dreamt of creating my own games one day and so now I am working towards that dream. Currently I work alone, and am studying just about all aspects of games development. I plan to keep working alone as long as possible until I am financially secure enough that I can start up a large studio and hire other team members to work on higher quality AAA titles. I am currently working towards creating a mod for the Cryengine which I won't disclose any details for just yet(Details to come when the mod is finished or near finished). The images on my profile may hint at what this project may be about however ;) And I really don't know what else to say without rambling.

Its not bad, but very repetitive for my personal tastes.

your bass drum could use a bit of a push at 80hz and a little bump at about 1000hz for the attack. Its a bit muffy right now, sounds like the beater is a mop head or pomeranian :)

The tritone interval works well, but ultimately its only 2 chords...

great start, keep it up!

Thanks for your comments, there is more work to be done on any song I make, I generally posts songs at the end of what I call a musically creative phaze, which lasts for maybe 30mins and if I can't get something that is sounding good within 30mins then I generally lose my creativity and leave a song be. So the songs posted here are generally the ones which get extended from that 30min phaze to the several hour phaze before I completely lose my creativity and mental energy.

I'm not too sure what you mean about the whole hertz thing, do you mean that it sounds far too muffled and needs a bit of a sharp edge?

What do you mean by the tritone interval, and the chords, lol i'm only musically creative, not musically literate :P

UPDATE: Just having a listen to the differences in audio from moddb and the actual mp3 version on my computer, it does sound very compressed and muffled on moddb in comparison, but I will not be uploading any of my total conversion music for download just yet until I finalize the sound track, which won't be until I finish the total conversion.

Description

This is a music track I just whipped up in about 2 hours, and am VERY proud of it, I didn't have any inspiration since all i've heard is stuff on the radio for the past 3 weeks, and that stuff is all pop and r&b crap, so this kinda came outta nowhere and I had the mental energy to actually make the most of my imagination while I could.
If I use this, it will probably be used for a scripted event, otherwise it will be used for other purposes like a trailer or something.
I hope you all enjoy.
