I am a mod developer of a large scale project called Otreum (not officially announced yet). I started work on the mod at the end of 2005, starting out with knowing nothing more than making maps in the Source engine, I now do 3d modelling using Maya (characters, props, weapons, animatable objects and environments), music creation using Reason 3.0, concept art done by hand, pencil and brain, and the rest is the rest. I am still learning new things all the time. Otreum will be based on the XRay engine which is the engine being used for the game STALKER which was made by the Ukrainian based developer "GSC gameworld" and published by THQ. The mod will be used with STALKER: Clear Skies since the SP SDK won't be released until after clear skies is. I plan to have my own games development studio within a 10 year time frame. I plan to release my mod in a 2-3 year time frame. If you wish to know about my mod, this is all I can tell you. I won't officially announce the mod until "IT IS DONE".

I love the menacing sound of the heavy guitar and drums. I was wondering though why you had the piano and the guitar both playing in unison for a period with out any other accompaniment?

Which part is it :P, there are several parts in the song that only the guitar and piano play.
I think you're talking about at 2:52 until 3:00 yeh?

If so, that's just a part of the buildup, do you have any suggestions for that part, I'm probably not going to work on the song much more since it was just a random track I decided to do and for the past 2-3 months or more, i've just had no musical creativity (it just comes and goes unfortunately).
Any constructive crits are definately welcome :)
So thankyou for your comments :)

~3:25 to 3:55 and ~4:50 to 5:00...now that I go through it again. lol I should have been more organized in my comment.

The piano and guitar I think are in unison there (correct me if I'm wrong I'm still honing my skills of interval recognition :( )
I'd recommend avoiding that unless you keep it well supported by another part. as both parts are moving in unison, they both move in the same direction at the same time witch isn't exactly exiting but more importantly it unbalances the piece.

So my main concern is really for the balance, be careful not to have too many voices all going down a or up at the same time with out a another voice moving in the opposite direction or not moving.

and if that doesn't make sense feel free to ignore it...
