I'll post this here as well...

I am getting "unknown error occurred:3" when I try to patch the launcher, and nothing happens afterwards. How am I supposed to install this ?!
I am playing on GOG version of EaW, don't tell me you guys changed this mod to only Steam version compatible ?!

I remember a somewhat older version of this mod and it's launcher and both used to work just fine on my previous PC with the same GOG version of EaW. (Older version of this mod that I've played still had the Lantean campaign in the Pegasus galaxy, so it wasn't really that old).

The game (v1.562) crashed for me 2 times in the last 15 minutes while playing it, and I just downloaded it like half an hour ago.
Both crashes happened on the map "A path beyond", Skirmish mode, 4 players, free for all(going to see if similar happens on other maps).

It just said something like "game can't proceed normally due to an error" or something like that, you click OK, and then that is that...back to Skirmish config menu.

My OS is Win 7 Home premium SP1 64 bit.

I have tried that, and done it exactly that way, and the mod won't start. It does not matter if I use the .bat file, or if I make my own shortcut with "MODPATH=Mods/Stargate", the game always goes to the vanilla EaW, like the mod is not even there.

Edit - And I have even tried with mod launcher. The launcher sees the Mod, but when I want to start it, the same crap happens...

P.S - This is my first time having this kind of a problem with a mod for EaW, and I have successfully installed and played numerous mods for both EaW and FoC, so I am not exactly a rookie when it comes to installing mods for either of these 2 games.

And the funny thing is that I have also once played this mod, on the same version of EaW, and I had no trouble whatsoever.

I just wanted to play it again and continue my save game in Pegasus galaxy...and then this no-start crap happens :/

P.S 2 - I also vaguely remember that in order to start this mod I had to edit(or rename) something else in the mod files, but I am not sure what or where, since the last time I played this mod was somewhere in 2014 if i am not mistaken.

Imagine what would game-play be like if RoR dudes decide to properly simulate Nuclear detonation. And, I am not referring to blast yield size(that one is problematic to be simulated realistically and would be OP from the start), but to all effects of a nuclear detonation, like air-shockwave, heat wave, radiation and EMP. China would be the first faction to become OP, ECA following in the close second place.

Which is wrong and not real life like. My argument might be invalid, but so is the "realism" logic of this game, sometimes it is just **** -.-
Award question: How do you jam an unguided missile in real life?! Answer: You can't.

S-75 Divna on mobile SAM platform...nice, but I think "2K12Kub"(SA-6 Gainful) would be more suited for GLA's mobile SAM. Plus, it has 3 missiles instead of 2 ;)

Well i think even vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R. does have a bullet drop, this is very visible on VSS Vintorez and AS-VAL rifles.(Although I might be wrong, hadn't really played any stalker series game for a year or more) On S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC 1.004, i have Oblivion Lost 2.2 + Arsenal RC1 mods installed, and every weapon, minus the Gauss gun, does have a bullet drop. You just might not notice it, cuz BD in real world becomes noticeable at distance 400+ meters, and fire engagements in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are almost never at that distances.

Good beta version :) However can u make Russian Topol-M system launch a stronger nuke(at least the strength of China's nuke from stock ZH)? You could make Topol-M more expensive to build and make the nuke have 8 minutes coldown time, to balance it with other SW in game. Also, it would be fantastic in my opinion to replace Tomahawk storm for USA Armored, with Minuteman III nuke launch system, I mean USA has a decent nuclear arsenal and almost no one mentions it in any of the mods. It would be really nice to see a usable truck mounted Minuteman III nuclear launch system for USA in this mod :)
