It seems the latest version of Raze incorporates smooth animations for all weapons. Apparently, though, the Tommy gun wasn't properly smoothed, namely when using the alt fire; it just doesn't center back to the screen properly like this mod does it, but instead it skips a frame or two when you stop firing and pops back to it's ready state.
Goddammit, why the hell am I not getting notified when Blood mods get released? I've this game set to follow!
Looks too good to be true, i.e., not having to wait five to ten years for the finished version.
Game is fine, I guess. As far as Quake clones go, I thought HROT was better. Never really liked DUSK; way too fast.
Sorry I didn't read that earlier. I don't know why, but sometimes moddb doesn't notify me when someone replies. As for the left-handed thing, honestly it'd be kind of a pain to make him right-handed again, since I took the hard route and adjusted the sprites manually instead of using Decorate functions; it was quite a while ago and I didn't have much experience modding back then. Sorry if that's kind of of annoying for you.
I don't understand; why make the Retribution maps a separate file if they are an improvement over the vanilla maps, shouldn't it be the other way around?
The amount of negative reviews on Steam are rather disheartening, mentioning tons of bugs mostly and unfair difficulty. I did not play the game for long, but frankly I found it kind of meh.
I don't think Steven Seagal would approve of him dying in this mod. Or getting hit, for that matter.
I was going to reply to the above comment; but then I saw the posting date đŗ
Does this version fix the innocents gibbing? I use Raze, but for some reason I could never get them to gib, they always had their standard death animation even when blown up.
Wonderful. Thank you for doing this đđ
This game was better on PC than on consoles in my opinion; I'll never understand why Nightdive decided to remaster the PSX and Saturn games and ignore the PC version altogether. What a bummer âšī¸đ
Yeah, no thanks, it's bad enough that I'm terrified of these things as enemies, but playing as one? **** that, lol.
Why this now, lol.
Pity it doesn't run on Doom 64 CE đŠ
Grenades are still misaligned and coming from the center of the screen; this did not even happen in the original 1997 release, they need to fix that ASAP. Also, for Heaven's sake, add particle effect trails to the Hyperblaster shots.
How do I use custom fonts on this? The standard Doom 64 font has this uneven letter spacing between some words; it shows when pickup messages appear.
Overall, it's a great episode, but the ammout of ammo scattered around really put me off. Also, way too many of those bloody hand prints on walls everywhere. In Blood these are rare and usually work as switches to open a secret area, but here they just appear way too frequently and rarely if ever lead to any secret; they're just decorations and nothing else.
I remember I had to skip a certain portion of a map using console commands, the one where you have to wear a gas mask to go through some tunnels or something, because the protagonist kept removing the mask and dying. I reckon it was a glitch.
This file is bigger than the actual game.
What was wrong with the Plasma recoil? đ
Why the hell did I not get notified of this even though I'm following the Blood page? I would've missed this mod if I hadn't just run into the trailer it by accident on YouTube âšī¸
Me after seeing the file size đ¯đŽđ˛đ§đĻđŗ
Will probably look better without texture filtering.
I just started playing this game for the first time ever; I'm installing this mod but I guess I'm not going to notice the changes, lol.
I'm confused, is this a new enemy they introduced in the remaster? The only spider-like enemy I remember are those found on the Ground Zero mission pack.
