Well, I should be rating this game a 9 because it does have one issue: the AI can be pretty bad at times. However, this one issue alone cannot bring this game down to a 9, and even if the issue was extremely frustrating, it would not stop me from rating this a 10/10.

Why? Because the gameplay is absolutely fantastic. It is so diverse with the kind of things you can do, the way you approach problematic situations, and various other things. The absolute reason why this game is a 10/10 however, is the storyline. The storyline is incredible, and when you consider the things you can do in the game, along with the storyline, you have not one, but so many experiences, how you handle a situation, which path you take, what skills you utilize the most. I bought this game for only £1.99 on Steam, this game, along with Garry's Mod which I only bought for £1.49 are the best deals I ever encountered on Steam, and for those of you reading this, I strongly recommend you buy these games if you haven't already. Whether you purchase it on sale or for the full price, I can guarantee anybody that the purchase is worth it.

This game. This game man. Do I SERIOUSLY need to say anything about it? It's innovative, imaginative, it's a work of genius. A rare game that puts most FPS to shame, the best way to understand why this game is a masterpiece is by actually experiencing it for yourself. You won't regret it.

I have never played a game, let alone a mod, that has even been as emotional, engaging and terrifying as Cry Of Fear. This isn't the kind of horror game that can be terrifying for the first few playthroughs of it then wear off completely, Cry Of Fear manages to be scary throughout the entire game and still manages to be terrifying after the first time you play it. I can't wait for the Steam release.

Awesome weapons, great shootdodges and I love the new graphic novel cutscene music. It would've been better if Max's skin was Mark Wahlberg with what he wore from the Max Payne film but then again this is an old mod that you probably don't want to update, especially since Payne Evolution is still in development. Great mod anyway.

The models/skins are fantastic

This mod is just too well made to be classed as a 'mod'

The mod did take too long to make though not to mention it's incomplete so its disappointing how this wasn't released earlier
