So with the Star Forge, I have the Infinite Engine artifact and it loves to auto cast on my scout frigates (Whoop map vision!) but does it only work on frigates?
The ability says Frigates only but the description only says constructors, cap ships and heroes.
Mostly I want to know to see if I can build a veritable army of Katana Dreadnoughts since right now the ability fires on the Katana's, uses the cooldown but nothing happens.
I had a fleet of 25 scarabs, dreadnought and Weyoun. Surprisingly efficient
Decided to play a 2v2v2 match with this mod. Man talk about intense! I had it with the capital victory condition and being the last player alive alongside the Borg had me use a bunch of my fleets to distract the Borg while I made a mad dash to their capital to burn it to the ground.
Have to say though, made for a great game. You guys are awesome :D
So, I have a question. What was the design decision regarding the reduction of hardpoints on the ships? I'm personally a fan of more hard points but you made fewer work just fine.
Still curious however.
I know my only gripe with it is that the ability says "Fires a salvo" except only one laser comes out >_<
Are you using two different copies of the game or the same one?
I know LAN requires you to not have the same cd key.
I'm pretty sure Drone Barrage got pretty OP at times :P
Sounds like they were stockpiling ships to throw at you after their pop counter was maxed.
Main reason I end games with the "Destroy Space Station" victory as opposed to the "Destroy Enemy" one.
If you had the correct model and modded it into the game, you could build it yes.
For now it seems however, that Atlantis is neither a buildable ship nor strucutre though it does make an appearance as a background object in one of the space maps :P

So, I'm not sure if it's me but occasionally when the Tau'ri ships use rockets, a localised section of the screen shakes randomly. Like just that area, if I look away it doesn't happen.
Otherwise great fun! Loving the changes, well except maybe the reduction of hardpoints to target but hey, everything else is better!
Question though, does anyone know what map has a Pegasus supergate? I'd like to play a map without a Milky Way one xD
Have you tried downloading it off either moddb or their actual website?

Later versions will have GC and land battles to my knowledge.

Depends where you live, for instance as an Australian I just wack on an extra day later :P
If its what IceSnake says though, you'd have to do a time conversion for your area.
I assume if you really wanted to, you could enable ground combat in an XML file, then add in the models and such from the EaW version and play it that way. Though at that point you might as well play the EaW version :P

Fighters have hidden untargetable hardpoints is why the health system goes werid. The change all makes them targetable which they weren't designed for.
Probably already figured it out or something but better late then never.

Change it to 40 for the original number :)
Just make sure you only mess with Tauri (Rebels) and Goa'uld (Empire) otherwise you'll have things like the Ori throwing massive amounts of ships at you :)

ok i fixed the smoking hangars so don't worry about that
ok so i have a bunch of damage sfx stuffed up maybe that caused it.
Also where do i put damage type? under projectiles im guessing since Hardpoints nr the ship entry XMLs have those
