Nevermind that question, I installed it and learned myself. What I don't know, however, is how to summon bloodthirsters and daemon princes as Chaos. Also, I have a bug where squad pop. increase and weapon upgrades randomly freeze for anywhere from several seconds to several minutes.
Does this mod include an interface for the Chaos Marines that lets them select a god to follow like in Firestorm over Kronus?
I installed the mod like any other (Module and mod folder directly into directory), and it appears on the mod list in menu, but it says it failed to launch when I try to use it. I've installed several other mods into Soulstorm this same way, and they work fine. What did I do wrong?
This mod doesn't work. I installed it the same way as every other Soulstorm mod I have which does work (Module and mod folder in main game directory), and it shows up in the list of mods in the main menu, but it says "failed to launch" when I try to use it. Again, other mods installed this same way DO work, like Renegade Guard, Genestealer Cult, Isstvan, etc. How can this be fixed?
I've always been a fan of the organic design of Covenant vessels, particularly the ccs class. The new designs made specially for this game are very interesting and I could really imagine them in real Bungie/343 Halo games.
My apologies if this has already been shown, or is not in the game, but have you finished the ccs, crs and rcs cruisers? If so, can you show them side by side for comparison? It's kind of hard to imagine the sizes just from the measurements on Halo wiki. Thanks.
In response to an earlier post stating that the Flood will have Covenant and UNSC ships as well as their own unique ships, you mean like entirely flood biomass all the way through, or old infected Forerunner ships? Also, will there be any way to implement flood infection in ground battles?
What exactly would the Flood space forces be? Just infested versions of UNSC and Covenant ships? Also, when can we start to see some Flood preview pics?
Just wondering, does this mod have the editor-only battleship-Agnicourt buildable? If not, any other ironclads or indutrial age steamships? I've always thought jumping from sails and round ball cannons to 20th century steamships with rotating artillery guns was a bit too large of a jump.
Have you guys ever considered an infantry-only trench warfare map? I always wanted to fight ww1 style.
Can someone explain to me why Yuri's Epsilon forces are fighting each other in the final Epsilon level? Thanks.
And another question. Is a unique HUD planned for this new faction. They appear to currently use the standard Chaos Marine HUD.
For years I've been using specially designed chaos badges and banners mixed with traitor guard skins of my own design, but always cringed whenever I heard them glorify the Emperor and I saw imperial heraldry on the buildings and units. At last there's finally an actual traitor guard army that's unique and separate from the Chaos marines. Thank you!
I need to ask though, what expansion is this for? Can't find it anywhere. I have Soulstorm, but honestly this mod will add incentive to buy the earlier expansions. :D
I saw Tie fighters in one of the many images here. Any explanation behind those?
Is there existing official concept art of this ship, or did you guys design it yourselves based on what Wookiepedia says?
According to Wookiepedia, a boxier-looking version of the AT-AT was used by the Republic to a limited extent during the war. Will we ever see these in the game?
Just do what I do. Ignore The Clone Wars series entirely. ;)
Who's this Ahsoka I keep hearing people talk about?
I would love a Republic vs. Jedi battle here.
"Execute Order 66"
NOT upset* typo, too late to correct.
So, why give the Victory class a new color scheme and leave the Imperators gray like they were in Imperial service? I'm upset that they did it that way, I'm just curious considering the Victory class would also apply to any concerns shown regarding repainting the Imperator with Republic colors.
To Silvermarch- They were originally called the Imperator. They were renamed the Imperial Class after the formation of the Empire.
To Darth Kyofu- Really? I've seen Imperators in actual gameplay fighting alongside other Republic ships still bearing the red Republic colors, fighting CIS forces.
You did. Those were Venator star destroyers under Imperial use. Don't get me wrong, the Imperator looks epic as it is, but it just looks a little out of place in a war of colorfully decorated warships that is The Clone Wars. Just a thought. I mean, they already colored the Victory class (among other Republic/Imperial ships). Why not the Imperator?
Wait, this thing actually has tactical value?
Sorry if this has already been done or suggested, but are there any plans for a re-skin of the Imperator Star Destroyers? I would have imagined them under Republic service to be a little more colorful than the bland Imperial colors, like the Victory class you already re-colored.
Is someone grilling, or is that just an Atreides I smell?
How so? I don't see any similarity between SC, C&C, and the Dune novel. Unless your thinking of Dune II, the grandfather of rts games. If that's the case, EVERY rts game ever made is a rip off of Dune II.
I noticed models for Tleilaxu leeches and sandworms. How are sub-factions and the neutral worms going to be used in the game?
Appearance is irrelevant. The success of House Ordos is the only consideration.
Hmm, all this time I thought it was only possible to have two factions period. Like, one download that's solely A v.O, another that's solely H vs. O, etc. It's cool knowing that there could be 3 factions in one game, even though not in the same match. That will be nice, having to develop different tactics for each combo. :)
In that case, how are you going to have 3 factions? It would be awesome if there could be a 3-way battle, but I don't think the engine supports such a feature. I would imagine there being "Atreides vs. Harkonnen" maps, "Atreides vs. Ordos" maps, etc., but I'm still confused on how that will work. I think this is the first ever Renegade-based total conversion to have more than two factions.
This game is great. My only wish is that it wasn't so dependent on internet connection to use. It seems video game companies are losing touch with the idea that games aren't all about playing against people online.
