Really looking forward to this :D I have a huge favor to ask for all those modders out there like me who want to make content but don't have the full knowledge how. Could your team member/s who got the armors working in game please create a tutorial of the process explaining any important steps? My modding knowledge is pretty exclusive to Skyrim atm so although I can make the models and textures I have no idea how to get that working in game. If that video or written tutorial was possible it would be great for the modding community and I would be extremely grateful :) If not no worries, keep up the great work!

Can't wait for this! Especially the campaign :D Just wondering if it would be possible to substitute all the new units in with a current faction in the vanilla Attila campaign? Not necessarily your team but is it easily done as if so I might try it for personal use. Would be completely historically inaccurate but I would love to use the Teutonic order to conquer the less advanced Europe.

Great work here. I am really enjoying it and I can tell a lot of effort has been put into this. Wouldn't be surprised if they make this a dlc at some point. Anyway I have a few questions. I keep getting battles on the same map. Is there anything I am meant to do to fix this or is it an issue for everyone. Secondly is there any chance you could import the voices from the napoleonic dlc for issuing commands. Love hearing my character ordering volley after volley. Keep up the great work :)

Hi all. I am going to try release a mesh file for a Noldor elven armor soon on nexus. I have run out of time to do textures properly so thought I would let the talented modding community give it a go. So if anyone (merp team or not) wants to give it a go hopefully it will be uploaded by the end of the month. ps. sorry to hear about merp cancellation but I am looking forward to what your team can achieve on your next project!

haha nah I have been checking this for years. Just haven't been very active. Moddb is where I started to use mods so could never leave it :P

From what I recall you can and the events of the main characters happen around you. I might be wrong though.

Just wondering if you guys are planning on remaking this but for rome 2 if it has modding capability's? This is such an amazing mod but imagine it running in Rome 2 engine! it would best thing ever!

I really like this mod but the only problem I have is when trying to take citys in the middle east (maybe other places as well havent tried)there is a brick tower where what I think is meant to be a siege tower. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

They probably are working on it privately as individuals. Even if it is just planning stuff. There is no way in hell WB could stop someone working on a personal project. I'm sure there would be some laws against that. Just imagine drawing a picture of a lotr sword only to have the police smash down the door. It just wouldn't happen. And I think they should stick to their game by using real names etc. This is a LOTR mod and I am guessing they want to release it as that and have all the legal rights to do so.

He had "MERP" in the title of one but never talked about it. I personally think there are alot better mod reviewers to talk to. Some that are more serious and don't just review skimpy half naked woman armors. We don't want people thinking Gimli is going to be running around in a borat mankini lol

I wouldn't punish Peter Jackson and the people that actually put alot of hard work into a great movie (maybe also coz Im a New Zealander :P). I believe the games are what we are targeting as they show no interest in making a good game. I will not buy any games from WB. Unless they actually put some effort into a LOTR game like what this mod is attempting to do. I highly doubt that will ever happen though as they just play on the movies success

Hope everything turns out well. If this case against WB works in your favor WB is still going to lose alot of fans as they just ignored the fans out crys. I would have maybe slightly forgiven WB if they had personally seen reason but with Tolkin stepping in instead WB is still my most hated company and will always be until they apologies to the fans they deliberately betrayed.

I am really ****** of with WB and will not buy any of their products except Hobbit. Thats because I will watch it for the hard work that people (not WB) put into it. I am also a New Zealander so have too lol

The Hobbit film is advertising lotr online on facebook. I suggest we comment on that status to raise more awareness

I am forgiving. If the did remove it now I would be thankful that they reconsidered. I would even buy one of their games even if I was not to play it lol. If we all mark them as a enemy for life they have no reason to remove the C&D as they have already lost us...

Nah cant be because of lego game as the releases are so apart. Unless this is an elaborate marketing strategy where they will release the C&D right before LEGOS release meaning we will all run to the game shops in gratitude :P

This is actually the first mod I ever noticed years ago and you could say its what got me interested in modding. I was intrigued by the possibility's to expand games and create a fans game, not a developers game. So if it wasn't for this mod I wouldn't have started making mods myself and I feel you have had that effect on alot of people. So thank you for making my life better and more fulfilling and I hope this C&D will be removed so you can keep doing so :)
