Since Naval battles is done so poorly in all TW games to date, it's a good thing we don't have them.
Well Chaos Gods obviously, but aside from Clan Pesitlence who are Nurgle worshipers the Skaven where not aligned to the Chaos forces during the end times.
I am asking this because I saw the Horned Rat in the preview to be a part of the Chaos Crusade mechanic so I would not like to see Skaven joining in the all around rise of Archon and Chaos along side Khorne Demons etc... :)
I have a quick question. In an image showing off the Chaos Crusade mechanic I saw that the Horned Rat was a part of the Chaos Pantheon.
As far as I know (and that is not that much :P ), the Horned Rat was included in the Chaos Pantheon after the End Times and even than he still wasn't on the status of the Ruinous Powers, still had to prove himself to the rest.
So why is he in the Chaos Pantheon during the End Times in the mod? :)

Weird Boy works fine, as do most commonly used models from DoW2 like Bloodletters.
Don't really see how they don't fit in, it the same universe, the same fluff, they are just higher quality models which are always welcome, like higher quality models the talented modders make.
Weird Boy? In UA FINALLY!!! I am so glad you guys are starting importing DoW2 models, it has been done for years now and there is no reason why you shouldn't make this mod better with them. :)

Also the mod is riddled with bugs, for instance, Bluddflag still has the same jabby animation bug it had in the first version of the mod.
In conclusion my biggest complaint about this mod is that it adds a bunch of models but with no flavor, it just adds to the original version. Like clumsily gluing wings, horns, helmet, armor and weapons to a statue and they are barely holding on.
The mod has potential but it need to be organized and the focus should be on working on improving the existing content it has before even thinking of adding anything else.
Ok here we go:
Review of Eternal Confrontation mod Part I (Since I am guessing this will take a few posts).
Let me start right of the bat by saying I do not mean to insult anyone and I fully respect the time and effort put in the making of this mod, and I beg the mod author to view this review as an advice and not as an attack on his respected creation.
Let's start with the positives, there is a plethora of new models never before seen in any DoW mod and they are beautiful to see. The music is awesome it gives you that pumped up feeling and it fits nicely with each faction. Aaaaaaaaaaand that's about it...
The negative, the mod gives off a large feeling of disorganization and is very imbalanced.
For instance in the Chaos faction you can build a building called "Temple of Lords" as soon as you start the game and inside that building you can produce all the greatest names in Chaos like Fulgrim and Mortarion with insane health and regeneration values which is a great advantage early on. Also you can pick a chaos god symbol between the 4 major deities and it gives you is a special building that let's you produce some special units from chosen deity BUT it doesn't change anything else, it doesn't restrict the other units in other buildings (for instance if I choose Slaanesh I can still build the Beast of Nurgle from the sacrificial pit) so it does not give you the real feel like you are leading the armies of said Chaos God. And speaking of the great heroes like Fulgrim, they don't have any unique powers, they usualy don't have any powers if they are not sorcerers in the most part and than they get doombolt (with the exception of the Sorcerer Lord form the HQ).
And the same problems continue in all factions like giving a lot of special commander units and not really making them unique, they are just models with high health and attack no real flavor to them same goes for the new units.
I know I meant in the campaign only. :)
New Gear is nice now if only you coud replace the Sisters with the Witch Hunters... ;)

A superb mod, I noticed sometimes everyone becomes aggressive at me when I load the game but it get's fixed when I reload.
Any chance of introducing character histories? :)
