I'm back, sort of. Most of my newest mods in progress are on my GitHub now.


Expect cool stuff like:

  • Guns.u : You bleed guns. When you die, you burst into guns. Pretty straightforward, right?
  • Clones.u : As a twist on the previous mod, when you die, you burst into tiny little Malcom clones that run around screaming until they explode.
  • MBAG 7.0 (More Blood And Gore) : Ludicrous Gibs and other stuff.
  • SWWM Z : SWWM and Znv_us merged into one single clusterfuck of overkill weaponry. TWENTY-EIGHT absurdly overpowered weapons, the usual extra pickups... and on a crazy twist... a new fullscreen HUD. Also some vague inspiration from Dark Souls (among others) because I liked it a lot.
  • DOM-Metalic-Rebuild : This is where I curse at GameFront (damn bastards) again for deleting DOM-Metalic]I[EDR and attempt to rebuild the map with the highest polycount I've ever made.
  • UnSX Monster Pack : Small resource pack of neat little creatures. Can be used for Monster Hunt and such.

I might attempt to do a full rewrite of a certain old Doom "jokewad" (Total Madness) that isn't completely fucking retarded, also sequel to Instant Action 3 confirmed. Special thanks to the nice people who dared do a Let's Play of them, your criticism was extremely valuable.

So what have I been up to?


  • OS development: Working on a slightly UNIX-like full operating system (AOS) for i486, x86_64, ARMv6h and MIPSr32.
  • OpenPONIKO 3.0: 2.0 became abandonware a long time ago and I started working on the full C multiplatform rewrite. It uses BSD sockets, curl, sqlite and many other things, and is designed mostly with Linux as its first target platform.
  • NASU Engine: The first generation that would soon lead to Uboa Engine, and afterwards, to UnSX Engine. Written completely in C, using SDL, and with Linux, OSX and Windows as primary platforms.
  • Attempting to go back to UT and Doom modding, with projects like the UnSX Resurrection Mod and a complete rewrite of the It Always Gets Better jokewad.
  • Soon to finish studying and become a qualified "multiplatform software developer", not like it'll help much but it's an actual requirement if I want to get a job as programmer here in Spain.
  • Writing the "UnSX Encyclopedia", bit by bit, classifying the almost 500 named characters, writing bios, doing sketches, organizing locations, items, family trees, timelines, etc.

So slow...


Here come the updates:

- ZWeapon system is almost finished. I'm doing a full test of its power with an upcoming mod (explained below).

- The UBX Resurrection Mod. Bringing back the best stuff from UB1 to UBX 3 V2. With some extra additions to fill up empty spaces. Some of the models are brand new, others are modified UT and Unreal I ones with different animations. Textures are fully recreated in high resolution. There's a total of 12 weapons for the first release, but maybe I'll add more just like I did with that Ultra Suite thingy.

- A remake of DOM-Metalic]I[EDR (one of my best maps IMO, that got deleted from FileFront all of a sudden, with me not having any backups). It doesn't look much like it, and it's even bigger. It has a very high poly count and relies a lot on the use of Quake 3 textures.

- UBXWeather system. Something I made as a scripting experiment. It lets you add rain, snow, fog and other things to maps. It's highly optimized even if it relies on actor-based particles.

- HFB UT99. Still needs some optimization. From what you can see in that video I uploaded, it is indeed too heavy on the CPU and causes immense amounts of slowdown.

- WS8. This is an alternative to the GNU Multiple Precision Arithmetic Library made all on my own.

- OpenPONIKO 2.0. Currently on pre-release beta 2. The source code is currently closed and the program unavailable for anyone other than myself, but the bot is being tested on various IRC networks and users can suggest changes and new features.

- Uboa Engine. Still slowly being made. I'm starting to believe this won't be released before the end of this year as I had planned.

- Gaming news: I finished Duke Nukem Forever. It's pretty decent, actually (unlike all of these CoD-like pieces of crap that are being made now). I tried RAGE, but then I raged (lol) at the horribly awful texture streaming. Right now I'm trying to do a full play of all the official Touhou games in existence. I couldn't get past a certain point of Highly Responsive to Prayers, but at least I had infinite continues.


I don't really have much free time now since I'm kinda busy doing a degree in software design, but I try to do all I can.

Well derp, I'm a bit late.


Currently, I've been enjoying the summer holidays. Which means I haven't worked on anything during all that time.

Well, actually, I've been in the hospital for a while so that pretty much explains part of my idleness. It's no big deal, just some lung problems that are already fixed.

During the last days of August, I've been working a bit more on my IRC bot. She is perfectly functional now!

I didn't have much time to watch animes or read mangas. And... on the subject of video games, all I've been playing lately was Minecraft. :P
