  • Hellbound 1: Modeling.
  • Hollow 1: Modeling.
  • Scripts for Hellbound and Empty 'tetralogies'. I've finished sketching all the 42 creatures planned for Hellbound 3 some days ago.

ZDoom:

  • IAGB: I FRAKING PROMISE I'LL GET WORKING ON IT, SERIOUSLY.
  • Instant Action 3: I'm going to redesign the weapons.

Standalone:

  • Improving my IRC bot every day.

Laziness:

  • Animu and Mango: Animes side: Kanon. Mangas side: None yet.
  • Vidya gaems: Waiting until I get the new computer so I can play stuff again.

  • ZInventory: ZWeapon system is about to be finished (only some few features to be implemented, currently working on ironsights). After this I'll start with the other classes (ZAmmo, ZHealth, ZArmor, ZRelic, etc.)
  • Zanaveth Ultra Suite 2: Modeling, now with 3ds max 2010!
  • ZPawn: Planned after ZInventory.

UDK:

  • Hellbound 1: Modeling.
  • Hollow 1: I've finished the list of effects, now I could just start modeling I guess...

  • Vidya gaems: I'm currently not playing games much. Last game I remember having played is the new version of Yume 2kki that came out. Also, I can play Crysis smoothly for hours now, I cleaned the dust on my comp and now at 1280x1024 with no AA (because I don't need it, I prefer edge AA) and with everything on VERY HIGH and using Nature Mod, I get an average of 15FPS and can play for long times without any overheating (but the game itself is getting hard. I'm kind of stuck in the Tank part).

The previous one was in 'almost september'. Also, a lot of stuff has happened to me in this short lapse of time.


Stuff in the works:

UT99:

  • ZInventory system: Formerly ZWeapon. Implement all the new stuff I have planned, including some native coding now that I have VS2008-compatible headers (thanks, AnthraX!)
  • Zanaveth Ultra Suite 2: Going back to modeling after I reinstall 3dsmax.
  • ZPawn system: A system with various improvements in AI, physics, inventory handling, etc.

UDK:

  • Hellbound 1: Models making in Sculptris. 'nuff said.
  • Hollow 1: Still brainstorming.
  • Scripts for other games in Hellbound and Empty sagas.

ZDoom:

  • IAGB: Bonus map, bonus map.
  • Instant Action 3: Redesigning the weapons and doing some other adjustments.

Standalone:

  • Yume Nikki HD: Trying to make a custom scripting language for the game.

Laziness:

  • Animu and Mango: Animes side: Seikon no Qwaser and K-ON! Mangas side: Yotsubato! and Franken Fran.
  • Vidya gaems: Currently playing through Crysis now that I found a way to increase the performance of mah crappy CPU. I get an average of 30FPS at 1024x768 with 2x AA and everything in high settings. I can increase the resolution or detail level, but that would mean faster heating of the GPU.
  • Chat
  • Surf the webs
  • Becoming a fully active member of various communities (Uboachan, mainly).

Life stuff:

  • Waiting to get the 12Mbps upgrade my dad promised if I got good marks.
  • Getting accustomed to the computer reconstruction (read below)

Some time ago my old HD started getting bad sectors at random. One of them unluckily corrupted some windows system files, so I had to get another HD to reinstall Windows in it. After that, I did some transfers of important files from the old HD to an external one, then I formatted the old drive and split it in two partitions, one for backups of Windows and other for music, videos and archived games.

The OS I installed was same as I used to have before, but now in 64-bit. I still haven't finished reinstalling all my programs.

At least I learnt a good lesson from this: Do not abuse defragmentation.

Well here I am.

Stuff in the works:

UT99:
 - ZWeapon system (almost finished)
 - Zanaveth Ultra Suite 2 (modelin')

UDK:
 - Hellbound 1. Making the models in Sculptris now, since it's easy to use and doesn't suffer from huge performance hits with high numbers of polys.
 - Hollow 1. One-person brainstorming. I already have the theme, genre, POV and main character.
 - Still writing the scripts for the others.

ZDoom:
 - IAGB. Bonus map, still.
 - Instant Action 3.

Standalone:
 - Yume Nikki HD. 2x-sized port of the RPG Maker original. I'm resizing all the graphics by hand. I'll also remake some of the audio. All will be on SDL, I'm practicing a bit with this API.

Laziness:
 - Animu and Mango. Right now watchan K-ON! (Muzak!) and Seikon no Qwaser (Tits!). In my manga list I'm currently reading Yotsubato! while I wait for the next update on Franken Fran at Mangafox.
 - Vidya gaems. Currently not playing much, I'm going to reinstall Crysucks Crysis soon now that I found out how much the performance of my CPU increases with some minor overclocking. On indie side, still with YN ofcourse (I love this game and all that's related to it), and also trying to achieve the good ending in Eversion (hard to get all the gems). On console side, I'm enjoying some past memories with Devil May Cry (I used to play it some years ago on my cousin's PS2).
 - Chatting with mah online freinds and postan on forums.
 - Surfing the web to keep updated on all the info about mah favorite sites.
 - Lurking on Uboachan.

Life stuff:
 - Finishing the presentation.

 - Instant Action 3. Final bugfixing, I have also converted everything to PK3.

Laziness:
 - Reading mangas and watching animes. (HOLY SHIT I ALREADY HAVE 50GB OF ANIMES IN MY HD)
 - Playing other games. (Currently, F.E.A.R and Prey. And on the indie side: Yume Nikki. On the console side: FF7 and FFX)
 - Chatting with online freinds.
 - Surfing the web randomly.

 - Zanaveth Mutator Suite. Lots of stuff.
 - Zanaveth Ultra Suite 1.6. Maybe... or maybe not.
 - ZWeapon system. Evolution of the old UBXWeapon (UBX 3 V2 downwards), SWWMBaseWeapon (SWWM series) and XWeapon (Ultra suite) systems. Standalone release for modders.
 - ZConsole system. Enhanced console that adds support for input grabbing. Standalone release for modders.
 - UBXWeather. Some nice weather effects.

UT3:
 - AllTimeRag 1.1. Lots of ragdollization for more realism on falls. First project in UT3.
 - Zanaveth Ultra Suite III. Making models. No Znv_us 2, I won't make anything for UT2k4.

UDK:
 - Hellbound. Having some fun sculpting creature models right now.

ZDoom:
 - IAGB. Making the bonus map.
 - Instant Action 3. Still with bugfixing.
 - UT2ZDoom. Project to create sprites for UT and Unreal weapons from scratch. Started to practice some pixel art, but becoming serious business.

And laziness:

 - Watching lots of different animes. (At the moment of writing, Rozen Maiden)
 - Playing through lots of last-gen games (and enjoying Crysis at 1024x768 in high detail with 2x antialiasing at an average of 15FPS, because I'm not one of those excessive quality idiots).
 - Chatting with online friend(s).
 - Other stuff I am too lazy to write about right now. :P

This is just a report of what I am currently working on.

  • Zanaveth Mutator Suite: 7 mutators planned, from simple gameplay and visual enhancements to new items and weapons. Currently making some models.
  • Learning how to use Blender, since it's free, open source, and has features 3dsmax doesn't have (AFAIK), like sculpt mode (It'll surely come in handy for character design!).
  • Testing UT99 Community SDK. Waiting for next build, actually.
  • Improving knowledge in UnrealScript. All thanks to the UT99.org community, the Unreal Wiki, and specially Shadow. ;)
  • Draft gathering. Writing and drawing dozens of design papers, sketches, etc. every week. PS: I'm reusing old paper, so there's no huge ecological impact ;P
  • School work: Studying for last term's exams. If I get good marks I'll have my bandwidth increased to 12Mbps!
  • Schoolwork: Also, I'm writing some stuff about TEH INTERNETS for my Contemporary Science class.
  • IAGB: Going to get back to the bonus map soon, and will also fix some bugs.
  • Instant Action 3: Bugfixing work ahead, too.
And what I do when I'm not working (70% of the time I'm on the comp).

  • Play UT3, UT99 or ZDoom/GZDoom.
  • Get the best of my new SC2 beta key while I still have time!
  • Play around with Blender's sculpt mode
  • Listen to Touhou's OST and also some remix albums.
  • Stare at the screen while µTorrent is running.
  • Stare at the screen for a while until I think of something to do.
  • 'Net research'. Actually, visit all the forums I know (sometimes just lurk around), check my mail and twitter, read the latest Cracked.com articles, check if any of my favorite comics is updated, check if there are any good mods for UT99 or UT3, watch random YouTube videos (not very often), visit all the cheezburger.com sites, stay away from Facebook, download SVN builds of various programs, download Hentai, etc. (... WHAT? It's art! -_-')
  • Compile my own builds from the latest DeSmuME SVN. (I use it to play my favorite DS games ever: The 'Ace Attorney' series)
  • Chat with mah online friend(s).

I'm really sorry, seriously. But, in my current situation, some things just can't be.
