If you ask me WaW might be able to be improved with just a texture pack.
This is only the graphics part of the mod.
I never knew Back2Fronts was such a major overhaul.
Could you update this?
I thought the Panzer IV Ausf. G was in use in Stalingrad.
I don't like the idea of this much randomness in the AI weapons. I think this should be optional as a gag.
Will you be adding these to the visuals mod?
Is this compatible with B2F Visuals?
What skin is your Garand using. It looks beautiful.
Could you make this mod in parts: i.e. visuals, mechanics, other stuff? I would like to use this along side B2F Visuals with only the new mechanics such as the recoil, muzzle flash, deploying, etc.
It's a great model, although I doubt they would have used it with the pistol foregrip and the drum magazine.
Also, will the WCP conflict with any of the mods?
This is my inner gun-snob talking again, once again about the MG-42. The gunner would have cocked the gun before anything else because otherwise one of the springs on the hinged plate would be in the way.
This is just my inner gun-snob speaking, but that looks like a good way to burn your hand. Soldiers probably would have held the gun by the bi-pod. Just food for thought.
I can't wait!
I remember the A280 came with an alternate, collapsible stock.
It's a bit more cartoonish that I would like, but it looks great.
I hate to be the guy who just insults people, but that model looks like a Dia de los Muertos puppet.
Allow me to correct myself. Early versions of the PPSh were select fire. I suppose it's accurate since the Soviet campaign doesn't go past early 1943.
The B2F Visuals changes the vanilla M1919 to an a6.
That's the safety, not the fire selector.
I like it, although I would like it a lot more if it looked more realistic. Consider doing some work on this.
The PPSh wasn't select-fire, if you're going to include fire selection you might as well only include it on weapons that actually had it.
Me again, I just wanted to say that I think the Garand's firing sound is way too quiet. In real life the garand is a loud mother but your mod makes the M1 carbine sound more powerful. Could you change the sound to one that actually sounds like you're firing a .30-06 rifle? Also, you managed to drastically improve the appearance of the Mosin Nagant and SVT, so I'm wondering if something's preventing you from fixing the sights on basically all the German weapons?
I know this isn't really relevant to the purpose of this mod, but is it possible for you to add better resolution support and maybe even a more modern UI to the game. I play all my games (at least all that have support for it) at 1600x900 resolution and the game is really unstable; in-game video clips cause the game to freeze. I'd like to think that this mod is intended to be an overhaul of CoD2 so added stability for modern resolutions makes perfect sense to me. Keep up the good work anyway. You're bringing CoD back to glory.
