Changing the LODs will be great for really high resolution or downsampling, can really notice low res textures at 4k!
Thanks for the CVARs, system chugs a bit with GZ3Doom in VR mode if there's too many gibs n gore on screen! Any chance of some CVARs for the stuff that moves your screen around like the minigun?
Love this mod, wonder could we get an option to disable the screen shake from certain guns like the chain gun though? Normally don't mind it but I've been playing this with GZ3Doom and a Rift DK2 and it really messes ya up :P

I went from Unity to UE4 recently and THAT jump was a breath of fresh air. I can't imagine the jump from XRay, just don't let scope creep.... creep into the new project and you should be good to go! Good luck guys!

Sounds like so much more than the map adding mod I subscribed to back in 2009, with these engine enhancements, graphics enhancements and all the juicy features added.

Was just testing it out on vanilla SHoC there; SSAA in Catalyst does about as good of a job as downsampling on Nvidia, pretty easy on performance too considering the massive visual improvement. Forced AA on Nvidia looked kinda shoddy with a ridiculous performance hit anyway. I just switched from 660ti to an R9 290, taking a while to get used to these drivers lol.

MUCH cleaner! Should make for much less irritating pop in! On a side note, is there much increase in VRAM usage so far? I know the original only peaks with about 480MB with ENB settings at full whack but it would be interesting nonetheless. There's bound to be some limitations with memory handling in San An's engine.

Nice! Trying to use mods to update San An's graphics is very hard without making it look like a different game but this mod is exactly what I was looking for car wise.
Keep up the good work, been looking for authentic looking texture replacements for ages. Most texture packs make the game look tacky, but this is great!

I'd be glad to help if my games development course wasn't so crap. We're stuck doing c# with an outdated version of XNA game studio and the most basic of code. Bah. Can do a bit of level design, but the standard you guys put out is intense!
Can't wait to see how this engine looks and performs ingame, there seems to be very little aliasing and the detail density you guys put into maps is insane!
Would you guys think of implementing the sound modifications like what Daemonion is working on over in the LURK mod? Its probably too much work but it would be nice! Keep up the good work, I've got a STALKER itch that needs to be scratched :P Also voted for you guys in MOTY again :)
